    They told the Thai people a long time ago that it was no longer required that people wear masks. So now it is a matter of choice. Why do so many seem to care about other people's choices to wear a mask? I still choose to wear a mask when I go to the market, Big C and crowded places. It is my choice and you really have no need to be concerned about it.

    I think that it is more likely that the driver may have fallen asleep at the wheel BEFORE his minivan ploughed into a roadside guardrail.

    I have aircon units but I don't use them. I find fans plenty good enough and I don't suffer from the heat shock when I go out. Mind you, I do suffer from the cold shock when I step into some air conditioned places!

    Cost for my electricity has nowhere near doubled per unit.

    His usage must have increased dramatically as such an increase cannot possibly be due to the unit price going up. Maybe the meter is/was faulty?

    Over the last year or so discounts and free months have offset most if not all of the increases for the poor.

    Motorbike and car taxi drivers have to be registered. I wonder if they are also required to carry insurance that covers their passengers in cases such as this?

    I live in Khon Kaen and I enjoy living here and have good expat friends. If I was a tourist, coming to Thailand on holiday and had no connection to Khon Kaen, it is probably the last place that I would want to stay!
