Must Read WHO declares end to COVID global health emergency
loong replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
They told the Thai people a long time ago that it was no longer required that people wear masks. So now it is a matter of choice. Why do so many seem to care about other people's choices to wear a mask? I still choose to wear a mask when I go to the market, Big C and crowded places. It is my choice and you really have no need to be concerned about it.- 98 replies

Motorist goes viral for hanging bags of durian on car to avoid smell
loong replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Never mind about hanging them in the window and obstructing the driver's vision! At least the car interior doesn't smell. -
Be careful calling out to your friend Robert. Robert sounds quite similar to the Thai word for bomb.

I have aircon units but I don't use them. I find fans plenty good enough and I don't suffer from the heat shock when I go out. Mind you, I do suffer from the cold shock when I step into some air conditioned places!

Resort Owner Shocked As Power Bill Soars Over 700,000 Baht

His usage must have increased dramatically as such an increase cannot possibly be due to the unit price going up. Maybe the meter is/was faulty? -
Government says household electricity charges will be eased

Over the last year or so discounts and free months have offset most if not all of the increases for the poor. -
Government says household electricity charges will be eased
loong replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
There may be many things that I complain about but the cost of electricity in Thailand is not one, The price increases have been minimal compared to other countries since energy prices increased, -
I also think that this story does not add up. Why was he carrying around that amount of cash? If it was to pay the hospital, well he had already been there so why didn't he? Nobody with a brain cell would have that money in a bag and lay it beside them and have a sleep. He could have shoved it down his trousers.

Coming Soon to the AN ChatGPT System - You will be amazed!
loong replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
What an incredibly bad idea! What is the point of a forum where replies are auto-generated? Does this mean that we can expect even more repetitive replies such as "500 Baht fine and a wai will fix it" "Stupid is as stupid does" etc. Is this a Chatgpt generated joke?- 135 replies

The first time I used it in December 2021 there were problems with the website and I could not submit it until the 2nd day after it was due. I got the confirmation 2 days after that, so being late was not a problem then. The last time I did it, I had trouble login in because the letters were impossible to read and I ended up submitting it on the due date. No problem.
