The Chinese are plain inconsiderate! Last week I was rudely woken up by not 1 but 9 or 10 continuous loud banging of the hotel room doors as they checked out early in the morning in droves. They never think about the other guests. Can't they close the door gently? It was 5am for god sake!

I hope to read tomorrow's headline
'Police officers decided to donate their rewards to victims' families and to the Thai who provided the tip'
Well...one can only hope.
They still can turn this fiasco around.

If it's any consolation, Singapore Post is having similar tracking problem with USPS. I hope this will be resolved quickly...we need at least an explanation from USPS on why overseas registered parcels can no longer be tracked....and why is this happening so suddenly?

Thanks for the tips.
I have just changed my passwords. Hasn't changed it for years. About time really.

Why do I have a premonition that Suthep will not turn up. I hope I am wrong though.

I bet she can name the 15 principles of democracy which automatically makes her smarter than 99.9% of red shirt supporters!
Well done to her and under a democratic umbrella she is allowed to have an opinion.
Unless the red shirts have made opinions that don't suit their agenda illegal now?
Don't answer that one Chalerm!!!
I don't think she can name all 15 principles of democracy. She probably can name one- world peace.
Oops....wrong answer.

Japanese are just good tippers! And polite. No wonder they are so well liked here.
Good to read this article among all the usual dreary Thai news.

It's great that the army has decided to do 'something' instead of waiting for a call for help from EC who will be more than happy to close the voting booth at the first opportunity.
I think the army is sending a clear message to Suthep. Do not mess around this time! If you try to disrupt and provoke a fight from the soldiers, you will have face the full force of the the army. Plus the police.

The police alone cannot win against the mob this Sunday. Simply because they cannot resort to force. The coup makers are watching.
They can only win if genuine Bangkok voters have the morale and courage to stand up against the mob. I hope all Bangkok voters will show the world this Sunday how much they value Democracy and will fight to protect it. Show up to vote and show the mobsters that you are not afraid. Good luck, Thailand!

That woman is a very brave lady. I salute her. I won't have the guts to do that.

Pictures tell a thousand words. Now, how do I forward these pictures of Thai being forcefully prevented to vote to Obama? No need for long letters.

The EC wants to postpone advance voting to 31 Jan. To me it makes LITTLE difference. If there is intended violence by certain groups, it will happen. Can EC guarantee that there will no violence a week later at the polls? I don't think so.

He even cried on stage.
What a copycat.
I am sure Yingluck is a more convincing crier than him.
I wonder if he cried after he ordered the soldiers to shoot at those innocent protesters many years ago.

I don't think the 'numbers swell' because they support Suthep and his loony ideas.
Most will come for the free food and entertainment and also to tell their friends that, yes they were there! No doubt, this weekend, the mass will come again.
But Suthep did not want his supporters to come after work or during work days off. For months, he wanted them all to stop work and cripple the country. But thus far, he has fail. Epic fail!

I think Suthep's head has gone very big. He now thinks he is bigger than everyone else in Thailand and everyone must listen to him.

Suvarnabhumi Airport named fifth best airport by Skytrax
in Thailand News
Posted
Strange no one has mentioned this...but Suvarnabhumi has to be one of the noisiest airport!
At departure lounge...the incessant and irritating 'This is an important announcement ..Flight..blah blah blah' will make sure you will be bombarded with this reminder non stop. Compared with Changi where there is hardly any announcement yet I am sure most passengers make it to their gates on time. Don't get me started on arrival '.....end of the walkway. blah blah blah.'
A peaceful and quiet airport is a good airport.
