I believe you will find there is no visa exempt entry for Burma (or Myanmar).

I am wondering if a Burmese citizen with passport will also only get a two week stamp at the border, say Sadao. On another note, what is happening at Mae Sot with visa border runs?

I want to get a simple non-immigrant O on the basis of visiting friends and learning the Thai language. I am under 52, not working, have a pension, etc. and this seems to be the only way I can get a visa at this point.

I had this problem a few years ago in Cambodia where I only had one page left in the passport and I was charged a fee because there were not enough blank pages.

Anybody know what the rule is on the number of blank pages in the back of the passport in order to get a visa?

That username/password didn't work either. I can't remember how exactly I got around this problem last time, I think I had to do something in the internet connections wizard.

I have been having some issues the last few days as well, and then yesterday...I try to connect and it says username/password is incorrect. This also happened before, and I changed the username/password and it worked again. Does anybody know the correct username/password? I have used [email protected] with evdo (i think) as a password for the past several months. Before that I was using [email protected] with cdma (i think) as a password.

I had a motorcycle accident the other day, and was lucky enought to walk away with three fractured ribs and various scrapes. I am supposed to go on a visa run tomorrow, and told the doctor I did'nt think it was possible for me to travel in my condition. He then proceeded to write out an official form (Doctoral Certificate),which is all in Thai,

stating that my condition would take 30 days to heal.

Can I just take this note straight to the border, or do I need to go to immigration first?

I wonder if these problems come from the new evdo revision and all the high speed modems. Maybe slowing the traffic down a bit would help. I would be happy with a stable 150 KBps down and 75 KBps up, even though I too would need a new modem to get the up speed.

My friend was having problems with the memory stick in his PSP, turns out the memory stick was a fake. It seems there are quite a few fake Sony memory cards floating around, many available on e.bay. Maybe you have a fake one.
