Anyone know when or how over-70s foreigners, healthy or not, will be able to get any type of jab if not in the Bkk area.

I am 68 and will get my Pfizer jab tomorrow 25/08. I am up north in Phayao

Further to my post Saturday 24, Page 26...    Got an email  from Maha Public Hospital in Korat PM   Monday 23, to attend Central Shopping Mall Korat  10am  to 1pm   today Tuesday 24th  for Pfizer...    Went,   hundreds there, mainly Thais  getting 2nd Sinopharm needle.           Take  yr passport and address details, fill in a question aire, all in Thai,   Vaccinations started 10.50.    After the jab   waited 30 minutes and out by 11.22.     Back for second  needle 14th Septem, ber. same  time and place.

Now to  try and get my  3,300 baht   back from St Marys Private Hospital, tho they suggest I can nominate  someone else to take my place.. Hope my  wifes daughter has that much cash.!!

Good luck with the returned money. I doubt that will occur. I hope I am wrong

I too received a phone call late Friday afternoon for a Pfizer jab next Tuesday at Kalasin Hospital. I asked for an email or sms confirmation, or at least a booking reference; but 'no can do'. Of course I am happy and will drive the 80 km. each way. But, having experienced the Thai love of paperwork, I worry that I might be on a fool's errand.

Can anyone confirm having received a jab on the basis of a phone call ?

I also received an email this morning. This was from my local health authority.

I have not gotten a email from them. I did upload my a single file with a copy of my passport photo page and most recent extension stamp. I have no visas in my current passport to upload.

I did the same. I received a phone call yesterday and was given an appointment next Wednesday to have my jab. I live near Phayao and registered on 02/08.

Not too small, not too big.

Cosmopolitan city with a relaxed feel

Good food, plenty of variety, including some good western restaurants.

Lots of shops with western comforts available

Nightlife is good, plenty of live music venues.

Only 45 minutes to the border (North Wales)? if you need to escape

Air quality is generally very good, and "Rainy Season" all Year Round

Only negative is the rare terrorist attack.

    Manchester???

     ????

  6. I have been using the monthly transfer method for a few years. I always have a spread sheet showing my monthly transfers. I use the Phayao office. They want to see where my money comes from. I have a superannuation letter to show them. My Immigration office want the bank letter to be dated the day that you apply for the extension. I went and asked at the Phayao office a few weeks before. They were very good and gave me a detailed list. Good luck
