I have a 1.5 year old dog who is bored and desperatly seeking doggy play mates. There are no dogs around us that she can play with without the risk of being savaged by one or more wandering packs of dogs. Ive already lost a cat thanks to one ignorant farang letting his 5 dogs (including a rotweiller) roam about all day/night.

So what im looking for, if anyone has a dog that is nice, friendly, playful and would be willing to meet up for an hour or two for a doggy play date.

I have a very large walled garden and would be quite happy to host (and even have my driver pick you up if you dont have transport) or could meet at the BJ dog resort, or any other place as long as there is no risk of running into dangerous dogs.

Beebo is a lovely friendly dog but has had very few opportunities to play with other dogs in her little life so far. I am getting another dog hopefully soon but it would be nice to get to know other dog owners who would appreciate a safe doggy 5play group.

As a last resort I would actually be willing to pay a small amount per play date if any Thai person has a dog that they think would be suitable.

for a start i would change your vet,then get the new one to do a blood test.

ours when he was 2yrs.old we had him clipped and within weeks he had some nasty looking soars which he kept licking and biting,the vet came and took some blood,then asked us if we had changed his food,it could be hot spots[look it up] and asked to see the shampoo we were useing.

bingo that was it the shampoo we had is not for thai dogs so we changed it to [pezzio] which is a medicated herbal shampoo manufactered in thailand.good luck.

She has not been clipped, after looking up hot spots the areas of missing fur do look like it could have been that. I will try that shampoo you recommend, thank you. While the fur patchs do seem healed now for the most part (some dry flaky skin remains) my other concerns about her behaviour still remain. She slept all night, and this morning reluctantly ate some food/water. She seemed to be in a good mood even though not as lively as before, so I tried to play with her by using my foot on one of her toys and "wrestle" her for it...15 seconds later she snarls and snaps...ive played with her like this countless times before and never any problems. Now I dare not touch/play with her, even though her snaps never touch and she shows remourse instantly afterwards. We took her for a small walk around the village for 10mins now shes back in bed sleeping.

She lives in a large house and has 24/7 access to a large garden (we are on 1 rai of land). Previously she managed to get out into the soi a lot due to my maid not being concerned with Beebo wandering onto the main road and mixing with packs of dogs. I know she enjoys being out but I cant rely on her to come back and not to wander off to potentially dangerous areas so I have made an effort to keep her in more. We have always played a lot with her indoors but now she seems to be not interested, my girlfriend brought her dog over to play but Beebo just avoids it. I take her for walks around the village on a leash which she seems to enjoy.

I came to live in Thailand not Mini-Moscow. There is a huge number of foreign owned business along side Thais in Pattaya and no matter if it is owned by a German, Swede, American, Brit etc. they cater to all and no one culture over shadows the other and certainly doesnt over shadow Thai culture, the Russians are going to throw out that multi-cultural soup and replace it with Borscht.

normally i wouldn't waste a minute to discuss any economics and/or investment with such a person. but this is a public forum where quite a number of people look and ask for advice as well as information. that's the main reason why i am exposing bullshit, wet dreams and wishful thinking by stating facts which can be verified.

facts:

-the inflation adjusted 1980 peak gold price of $ 800/ounce is equivalent to 2,324 (800*1.035^31) "2011 US-Dollars" using a very conservative and benevolent meager inflation rate of only 3.5%

-even though everybody is aware that these 3.5% are the product of lying and bullshitting politicians and their central bank cronies who are political appointees, that rate can be used for demonstration purposes.

-comparing the calculated $2,324 with the 2011 peak of 1,900 the result is a loss of -22% respectively -18% depending whether calculated down/up or up down.

-when using the prevailing gold price of $ 1,540 the result is -51% respectively -34%

no bla-bla can change the afore-mentioned facts. period!

During those years the party was still going and more debt was created to keep it going, the value of main currencies was not in question because everyone thought such debts were managable. Now we are seeing these debts are no longer as managable thus the potential for defaults, mass devaluing of currencies etc. I think this is what makes gold an attractive safe haven now depending on your circumstances and exposure.

Now with further rampant inflation likely, golds time has come as somewhere to preserve net worth. Rampant inflation will need (eventually no matter how many people cry about it) higher interest rates Higher interest rates (which have been kept too low for far too long) will be bad for real estate and for the stock market, and no doubt money in a savings account will get paid a lot lower than is required to keep up with inflation.

Curtains block off light if you need to darken the room. Dark tinted film blocks off light but will heat the glass pane up. Like turning your car into a microwave...

Ive got silver backed curtains already but the room is still too bright for my liking, I sleep mostly during the day so darker/cooler the better. The curtains I must admit are not very good, perhaps getting them redone is the best option.

Are there products similar to car window tinting films that I can apply to some household windows? Or is using the car products a viable option? I would rather not replace the windows that are already installed and wish for a dark as possible tinting for my bedroom windows.

You use tor to talk to the trackers, and then the trackers tell you who to connect to. Then you connect over the regular internet to the people who have the file you want, without tor. Since TOT is blocking the trackers, but not the P2P, this works and is just as fast as anything before, except maybe the initial connection.
