Just paid the bill using Thai issued Citibank credit card ?
One minor issue, card payment is limited to 5,000 Baht, this bill is under but we sometime creep over so will have to pay via online banking or back to the Seven ?
I use the SCB app. Just scan the bill with my phone and SCB pays the amount due. No need for 7-11 or PEA's app which I don't trust as much as I trust SCB for security.

I have the Civic 3 door as well [23 years young]. It's been a work in progress [hobby] for me.
I never have to add any fluid to the radiator.
It could be a head gasket issue. Any white smoke from the exhaust pipe?

A wise move i think...the average Thai who is used to riding a motocy struggles with a "big bike" and then we have the dumb ass farangs who cant even ride a motocy properly trying to ride a "big bike" as well...
I would think capping the motocy at 125cc and anything above that is considered a "big bike"
I have a 135 Yama and it's certainly not a big bike. 250cc is a good start.

They charged me Bht 1800 for a new fibre router, which is white the same as my ADSL one.
They just changed my router again. [2 months ago] The new one is white and the size of a 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper. Quite large. They have never charged me to change a router. Did they give you a reason for the charge?

If you don't already have them some floodlights that you can work from your location may be an idea along with a nice loud siren. It's amazing how quickly intruders move on when brightly lit up with an attention-getting noise going on.
Maybe add a solenoid release to the dog chain too (I jest, but it may just be an idea).
Is your property fenced so the dog can be allowed to patrol at night, our two are always on guard at night (in partnership with the geese and guinea fowl), nothing moves without getting noticed by someone.
I agree. Our Lab is all over our property. Tho she wouldn't hurt a fly, her bark keeps everyone away.

Please visit the school and have a chat with the director. Your daughter is most of the time right, and her teacher is so wrong that it already hurts. The teacher has absolutely no idea about the English language at all. Let the girl know that she did well, no matter what grade the teacher will give her.
Please be aware that the judges of speech competitions are often corrupt and let the best paying parents' kid win. I've seen it with my own eyes, no hearsay.
Great advice @jenny2017. I have been there done that many times. I have talked to the Director of my son's Private School numerous time. They nod their head but nothing changes.
Needless to say my son now goes to a different school.

I took omeprazole for around 10 years, and it worked perfectly. However having had 2 stents inserted into a heart artery, I was advised to stop omeprazole as it clashed with my heart medicine. Apolets. The Dr prescribed instead Prevacid (apparently the lesser of evils) It works but at around 50baht a tablet and no apparent generic version, it is expensive.
That's interesting.. I have 2 stents, take both Apolets [baby aspirin] and Omeprazole. I see my Cardiologist next week and will definitely ask a few questions..

A couple thousand baht at the neighborhood body shop and all is well
Not quite.. I'll bet the paint will cost upwards of B100,000 and we don't know if there is any damage that is not visible to the eye.

Had the same problem at Makro this week. The entire meat dept. reaked. I told my wife not to but anything, but she bought chicken that did not smell right to me. Needless to say I refused to eat it...

I am not sure why the Thai revenue department would make such a comment. It is really none of their business.
If you are on an extension of stay based upon working issued by immigration your salary has to be at least 50k baht if from a western country.
My wife works for the Revenue Dept. and agrees with you Joe. She said no employee has the right to compare anyone's salary. In addition, a RD employee does not have any statistics on salaries by job category.

You should not be responsible for repairs due to normal use. That is the owner's responsibility.

We had our 2 kittens done when they were close to 6 months. Our vet said it's not all about age, the kitten needs to weigh at leased 1 kg.

Never bought from Amazon before.
I am looking for a cheap laptop with i7 processor. Can you recommend someone that uses the global shipping or whatever it is so I pay customs up front ? So it should only be 7% VAT on laptops right ?
That's correct. No duty on computers/notebooks.. Just VAT.

When I try to order I only see Expedited Global Shipping and Priority Shipping . So the cheapest option is not available ?
It should be on the payment page. Look carefully the option is sort of in the middle of the page slightly to the right.

Not much CM airport specific. Guess it's now everywhere.
Remove/scratch off that crazy dangerous three digits.
Handing over a CC/debit card with the magic number is like handing over the keys to your account.
Great idea. I suggest to anyone who is going to scratch off the 3 digits take a photo of the back of the card in case you forget the numbers.

stickman led the exodus and we all know why ..thai forums have less and less posters nowadays
Expats leaving Thailand has little impact on the amount of forum posts.
Forums in general are a declining industry as more and more groups [previously forums] are now on social media sites like FB and Twitter.

It's me my wife and 2 children. I don't drink or smoke. I just do as I please. We have a car and a pickup plus a car that I have been rebuilding [hobby]. We eat out most of the time and if we want something we just usually buy it. We go through B75,000/mo. Easily...

I have had Apple products for about 15 years and never had an issue. In fact the one I am using now is 9 years old with NO downtime.
30 minutes ago, lordblackader said:I was an Apple-only user for 12 years and I've owned the all - multiple MBPs, Macbook, Mac Pro, iMac, countless iPhones and even an Apple TV.
My MBP died last year and I replaced it with a PC - I'll never go back to Apple again. A lot has changed, Windows 10 perfectly usable OS with zero dramas whereas every version of OSX/macOS just became more of a pain (compatibility) and really didn't do much in the way on innovation either. I have access to my Mrs' MBP now and I don't know how I put up with it for so long.
Mac's peaked maybe 6-8 years ago and they've going backwards since.
Personally, I find each OS upgrade to be much better than the previous.

There is a section labeled Utilities that has the electric and water company. Used it for the water for the first time this month. Haven't tried the electric yet.
