The system worked fine for me yesterday. Applied at 1.30pm, and just checked 4pm was approved! Printed official receipt out stapled it in my passport, all good until 20th March 2019.

This was my 6th successful 90 days report online, never had any issues.

Could I just ask how many days from the expiry of your previous report is 20th March?

  2. It started working for me only this year. I have successfully now completed two on-line reports. It saves me a two hour drive (there and back) and obviously the cost of diesel. My only observation is that the report has become every 80 days as the 90 day count down starts at the date the report is approved not at the date that the last one "expired". Not that that is a big sweat.

For example if your check-in date is the 24th of December, you can check in anytime between the 4th and the 18th of December. After the 18th of December your would need to go to the Domo to checkin.

I don't think that that is correct. If your check-in date is 24th December then you may submit your report between 9th and 16th December, i.e. no more that 15 days prior and no less than 8 days prior. That's my take on it anyway.

    Reporting Office: Buriram

I have done my 90 day reporting online today for the 1st time @10:29 and @ approx 13:30 I received an email that my Notification has been approved. So really quick.

Due Date for the original 90 day report was 20th July !

If I remember correctly it was reported some time ago that Buriram did not conduct on-line reporting. I'm pleased to hear that they now do. I just hope that Surin office follows suit.

This changed a couple years ago.  They still will process the application and issue the extension to the expiration date of your passport, BUT you now need to apply (and pay for) a new one-year extension for any time after the expiration date of your current passport (in your new passport, of course.)

Does the initial application reflect the length of time of the extension in a reduced fee?

    • Here is the description:
    • You must be a minimum of 50 years of age
    • You need a passport with a minimum of
12 months validity and 4 passport photos
    • We complete all the Immigration documentation
    • We can provide the funds if needed
    • We deal with Immigration for you

From my experience, albeit from 8 years ago, your passport does not need 12 months validity. However, you will only be granted an extension of stay up to the date of the expiry of your passport. When you receive your new passport, you will need to visit immigration and have all your details transferred and the additional time should then be added to meet your yearly expiry date. This makes sense to me as, being a Brit, we can only apply for a new passport up to 9 months prior to expiry.

From reports I have seen they do not accept online or mailed in reports. They insist that you report in person.

Just for information, I visited Surin Immigration last week and:

Applied for my new extension of stay 43 days prior to the expiration of last year's extension. The extension was granted.

Reported my address in accordance with the 90 day reporting rule 5 days after it was specifically due. My subsequent date to report is 90 days after the date that I reported.

I'm in BKK but when submitting online i don't need to worry about which particular office i need to report. The system makes that determination and forwards the report accordingly.

The reason that I asked is that I am required to report to Surin Immigration. Yes, the system determines which office needs to process the on-line 90 day application but unfortunately Surin Immigration (and also Buriram Immigration I'm told) don't give a shit.
