  1. Brother makes 25.000 a month.

Thats a lot for a Thai.

Why should farang pay all for this nonsense?

Its ok to help with some money. But not all!!!

Let brother grow up. Man up. Whatever.

Thai men are mostly useless creatures.

Even the wedding he did. It wasnt out of kindness of his heart.

     He saw profit in it

  2. every time farang is involved in a accident  thais suddenly are poor. no money and stuff.  bullsh#t. they see you as an ATM so they will all play this game.

no need to feel sorry for them. they should pay. or not use the roads

  3. Did anyone go recently to the Philippines or Vietnam to get visa for Thailand?

    any stories?

I've been going for years to Laos to get my visas, and never have any problems, either to get tourist visa or non-O visa.

I need to go again next week. and i'm thinking of going to Vietnam. or Manila for a change

But have heard weird reports, and it seems more complicated than Laos

Any updated info on the subject??

    Thank you

  4. This is totally wrong on many levels. Seems that Thailand doesn't care much for history.

Isn't integrity and honour a big thing in Japan? Surely they have the education to remember what happened.

Not really a surprise with the distorted history lessons they get.

Ask a Thai what the Victory Monument commemorates and very few will know. Why it is still there after the land was given back is a mystery.

    why is it wrong?

Thais do not learn history in shools, not international history, not even their own. so what do you expect??

as for Victory monument in bangkok, its a total joke.

firstly Thas do nto knwo what is it for. secondly the "real' reason for building it was another joke

  5. Its just never going to go away all.

Do the authorities still think that anyone, here or abroad following events, believes these two Burmese boys are guilty?

Do the authorities really still think that all these suspicious deaths will all be forgotten about in the era of social media?

I doubt Koh Tao will ever recover to anything near approaching the tourist revenues of the past. Its reputation appears, from what i keep reading, to be shattered for good. Such a shame because its such a beautiful island.

we all know that these burmese boys are innocent.

but we also know that tourists will be going to Koh tao as before. Koh tao will never recover?? from what?

There has been so much crap and other stories going all over Thailand, and the tourists never stopped coming.

even blocking of airports, martial laws, protests on the streets didn;t stop it.

so what are you talking about?

How about introducing spaces and punctuation in the written language as a start. No wonder Thais don't enjoy reading whenit'sallwrittenlikethisIwouldgetaheadacheforsure.

I agree with you 100% have been try to lean to read thai wright it to but very very hard and I give up but I still go back and try again I will get it one day have seen here with my thai stepdaughter she took 7 go's and try to pass the weighting test for her motor bike

    you guys are wrong

Thai language is a different language from any 'european" languages

I:m from poland and i can read Thai.

i have learnt it just by myself with the help of a 1st grade book for kids

    it is actually quite easy.

and the fact there is no punctuation or spaces doesnt; make any problem to me and of course to Thais

the problem is in thai education system which is a joke
