I did see a scooter-type electric motorbike advertised in Thailand. It had a removable battery pack. The idea was that when you got home you removed the battery, took it inside your apartment and plugged it in using a standard wall socket.
I could see that type of arrangement bring popular in Thailand when the price is at the right point.
Yep, wife got a scooter type electric thing 3 days ago. Totally silent, so she whizzes around the village and you only know she's there until you see her. Tried it meself to go to the shop. Not that comfortable, but I cud C the appeal if my click had an electric battery.
Would need to install a noise maker however, cause the diginals never look when crossing the road. They only listen for sound. ????

No, I don't.
It's clear you are only worried about yourself in this scenario. It's likely, these girls are on birth control, so higher chance of blood clots with the vaccines.
It should always be a free choice.
Would it be best for their customers - sure - but it still must be their free choice. It's likely they will have to show paper that they were vaxed b4 their boss rehires them again anyway.

Ah, the enjoyable hours I have spent sat outside 7/11's in soi khao noi with a drink in hand watching the water stream downhill, the drains bubble, the cars struggle and the bikes wade through turd infested water.
Good times - Good times. Ahhhhhhh ????

Did you get that recently? My accountant told me they not issue that card anymore? Thanks.
quite recently, yes. It's plastic like the Pink ID card.
I present it in hospital when I go for dental check-ups and the like.
It has replaced the paper one, which got worn down easily. THey send them out to my UNi every year, but Uni denies receipt. Had to get them to send to my home address. ????

It is normal for the hospital to present the bill even though the government pays.
They took payment - so your logic does not hold. ???? It was presented & payment was taken.

Just now, kotsak said:Yes would be fun to watch their faces, but usually the first thing they ask when you enter a hospital (even for IPD) is if you have insurance (so they can try their best to suck it dry ????)
Technically SS is insurance (payment for health services), so I would answer in the affirmative or just tell them I don't have private insurance.
Assure them of payment and let them crack on. ????
Present SS card when all well and cured & then just wait for their expression to change.
It's kind of sickening that a Doc who has sworn to do no harm, pads a bill with unnecessary expenditure. It's sad in this day and age. ????

I suppose it does, if you are in the social security through your job.
Can you imagine their little faces when they realise that a foreigner that they have been 'treating' for covid pulls out his/her SS card. The amount of padding would be huge and they would not get a penny from said foreigner.
Would love to be a fly on the wall that day.

At this time of the year when the temperature is unbearable in Thailand, I miss home.
I miss the ice cold Guinness, I miss the temperate Irish weather and I miss having a laugh with friends.
Today particularly, I'm a little down in the dumps as one day seems to run into the next. I am 17 years out from retirement, but I don't know how you guys do it. I am definitely not looking forward to those times.
Any way, a cup of coffee, some writing under my belt and hopefully, I will feel a little better.

I love you Ireland. ????

THe 1 million baht limit comes into effect in August this year, but is the 1 million limit only for one account at one branch, or can you have 2 accounts for example with the same bank, but at 2 seperate branches?
Many thanks for any info.
