well i sent my pasport off via trendy building on 29th may,received at Liverpool HMPO 2nd June, it is now 12 weeks later and still not got it back despite 18 phone calls to bangor call centre and 10 e-mails, told it is in the examination stagw,whatever that is total <deleted> waste of time,

Having lived in Chaiyaphum for over 2 years and now live nearby it is a good little city, we dont get ripped off with upped beer prices,there are many karaoke bars where you can get a cold beer (100baht) and a bar girl if u fancy one,there is a big C and a bloody good night market,many cheap food stalls and a leisure centre, Tesco lotus also has a food court and the people here do speak and understans english.It also has 4 bus stations so you can go nearly anywhere, ie nong khai korat bangkok even to Chaing Mai so dont knock it till you have tried it also there are quite a few farangs here.

i was there last month and the fee was $35 dollars or just over 1500 thai baht but because it was a holiday i had to pay $36 dollars for the priviledge of being allowed into laos,if they can they will get extra out of you its their nature they are all the same thai or laos its there nature, but if you dont like it then move to malaysia bloody good country

same here,my normal 7/11 store for the last 3 weeks have been saying to me no stamps,new stamps not come yet.But this morning when i went in and asked and was told no stamps yet i waited just near the exit and watched as a thai woman paid for her things and was given stamps,when i went back and asked about my stamps she said and i quote "you farang you not need stamps you money " I won't be going there again its tesco lotus from now on and they lose over 3500 baht per month now

Of course they know what a cancelled passport is you knobhead,as you have to get your new visa stamps put in your new passport them present the new passport to the Immigration Department and they will then link your old passport number to your new passport number

just an update on any farangs who are thinking of using their old passport instead of their new one, Once the good old HMPO decide to send your new one back to you and in my case its been 9 weeks now and not a sniff off my new one,the old one becomes invalid and you can be in big trouble for showing the police a cancelled passport even if it has many years to run,Mine is valid till November 2020  but once i get my new passport back i will be showing them my old one. its safer and not as expensive if you happen to lose it ( i use that term loosely)  This police colonel is an absolute Barcleys and is talking out of his rear appendage 

What planet does this immigration guy live on, Pol.Col. Thanasak Vongluekiat, Superintendent of Prachuap Khirikhan and Phetchaburi Immigration.I have a Work permit with all my details on it (which is a current legal Thai document) but apparently not good enough now for I.D. purposes and have to by Thai Law have it with my passport at my work place at all times,so now when i decide to get pissed and then pick up a bargirl from Nana plaza I take my passport with me Yeh no chance This is probably the most sought after document in Thailand for crooks and thieves to get their hands on. i went to malaysia (penang) for my new non b visa as they are very good and helpful ther, i got it no problem even though i had to steam off a cambodia visa sticker as i only had 2 pages left in my passport, due to my new one not arriving yet after 10 weekswhen we reached the thai border near to Hat Yai (sorry forgot the name of the town) there were 2 ditch men infront of me,both were refused entry into Thailand and were told to go back to Malaysia not our problem. They had to show that they had 20,000 baht on them or in a bank,both had neither. Solution easy i went to ATM just down the road in Thailand I withdrew 20,000 baht give it to one man in the car park at the rear of the immigration offices,he went round,showed them the money was stamped in,then money passed to second man same procedure, Then he came back to mini van I got my 20,000 baht back + 2,000baht for my services They were happy,The little Hitler in the immigration box was happy RESULT
