We just came back from our first trip to HH. It is nothing like Pattaya, there are no Gogo bars or Disco clubs. It has a small concentration of beer bars and if I was single I would not like it. It is a ok place to go relax at a nice resort, we stayed at the Hilton. But after 2 days of pool, beach and a few sightseeing stops, we were done. Ready to go back to Pattaya. We tried it but will not return, unless I go just to play golf, many nice golf courses there. The best is the well known Black Mountain, where many Thai Pro golf tournaments are held. Very expensive

I would like to see the police do something about them from walking in the middle of the street 4-5 abreast blocking traffic and getting upset when you honk to alert them they are creating a hazzard. They walik in the middle of lanes of traffic even though there are sidewalks available. This is not racist, this is an observation and a problem that needs to addressed.

They are the worst things to happen to Thailand. They have invaded my condo building as renters and I can not sleep until they stop making noise all night and wake up when they start again in the morning. They control my sleep patterns so much I want to move out of the condo I own and rent. The other day I was driving my motorbike to Watchai market in Pattaya to get a few items for the monks and got to temple. I had my 9 month pregnant wife on the back. A car pulled out without looking and almost caused us to crash into a parked car while making a evasive move away from the reckless car. Then the car started to tailgate me down the 2nd road. I had enough and stopped my bike and yelled back what is their problem. A bull dyke Russian lady gets out and yells what my problem is. I told her her pulled out without yielding and and if I was not a good motorbike driver I would have crashed her reply was, "DID I HIT YOU?". I told her that is not the problem her reckless driving almost caused a crash and caused my wife a miscarriage. Again she yelled, "DID I HIT YOU?". If my wife was not there I would have decked the bitch. I have never hit a lady but she was no lady and her disrespect for driving safety and the usual F-everyone but me attitude I really wanted to. I bought a good soft cooler from an upscale outdoors store in USA. I Vaccum lock and freeze steaks, sausage, roasts, blocks of cheese. I take the meat out of the freezer just before I leave for airport. I bring as a carry on, so if there is any problem I am there to prove that is is US Grade A meat and make sure it get all the way to Thailand with me.

If you wrap in foil that will help a lot, but vacuum pack frozen would be the best. I do not know about other countries and whether they have the standards of inspecting meat that would pass through. I only know that I have no problem going from USA to Thailand, did it many times. Beats having to eat the sub-standard or overpriced beef you can get in Thailand. You get what you pay for

I have tried the same thing at my condo face to face. Most of them claim ignorance and say they can not understand English. I have had them tell me it is not them and when I come back a few days later to tell them it is them, they get hostile. The best thing I do is when they wake me up now, I go to the fuse box on that floor and turn off their electric to their room and then turn it back on when I get up in morning. I they have no electric they only have the option of going to sleep or go out again. It works
