  1. It just gets worse :o

    Leeds hit with 15-point penalty

Leeds have received permission to play in League One this season after being granted their Football League share but must do so with a 15-point deduction.

The club have appealed against the sanction imposed by the Football League and their case will be heard at a special meeting of all league clubs.

Doubts had been raised over Leeds' future after the club failed to agree a Company Voluntary Arrangement (CVA).

The Football League accepted there were "exceptional circumstances".

Report: Leeds Utd given 15-point penalty

But in making their decision, it was stressed they could not allow Leeds to operate outside the strict rules concerning administration.

Leeds are back under the control of Ken Bates after administrators KPMG sold the club to him for an undisclosed sum.

The CVA would have allowed Leeds to pay off an acceptable amount of their debts to creditors.

"The Football League Board agreed that, notwithstanding the manner in which this administration has been conducted, the club should be permitted to continue in the Football League," said a statement.

"Consequently, the board has decided to make use of the 'exceptional circumstances' provision within the League's insolvency policy, for the first time, and agreed to transfer the club's share in The Football League to LeedsUnited 2007 Ltd. Accordingly, the club's share has now been transferred.

"However, it is acknowledged the club did go into administration and has been unable to comply with the terms of the League's well-established insolvency policy.

"As a result, the board determined this transfer of membership should be subject to Leeds United having a 15-point deduction applicable from the beginning of the 2007/08 season.

"Leeds subsequently have lodged an appeal against this sanction, which will be heard at a special meeting of all League clubs, to be arranged in due course."

Football League chairman Lord Mawhinney met with both KPMG and Bates, telling them to change the CVA, which governs how much creditors will get.

  2. No re-entry stamp needed.

Large carpark personally had no security worries

If you have a yellow Tabien Baan bring it along so you get cheaper entry although Thai driving licence might work.

Don't wear flip flops as it is a long climb to the top

  3. Went with the family yesterday and was very impressed.

Still not fully open (hence free addmission)

Will start charging as soon as all the facilities are ready ie souvenier shop and restraunt

    A great day out

  4. Already using money in the bank option.

PND#90 . Does she get this from tax office.

Is the tax calculated from takings in the restraunt or salary she pays herself.

    e.g 480,000bht p/a (for income of 40,000 per month)

    -allowances 65-80%

    deductions for children 30,000

    etc...

Tax payable -: around 16-2000 bht

Is there a check on book keeping/accounts by the tax office or is the PND#90 sufficient ?

  5. As for BB - well we are having issues with paypal - seems they deemed bb getting multiple 20quid transactions as a security breach and locked our accounts and reversed the transactions. :o BB told me his account and anyone who used paypal to settle up had the same problem. After sending proof of identity, I should have my account back up next week and attempt to send again.

A right royal pain in the arse this Paypal has been. Despite faxing Paypal documents they have still blocked my account! However it shows the transaction worked, it would be handy if Belfast Boy could confirm one way or the other.....please.

same here with paypal.Account frozen, unable to verify???

They did say that the payment was made.

    Lets hear from you BB

  6. totally agree.now us leeds fans are not angels by any stretch but....

these fans basically robbed there way in,at the expense of real fans with REAL tickets.although the greeks were well below standard for organisation.

alot of fans in england cannot stand liverpool fans for many reasons.

    1.heysel

2.hillsborough - tradegy due to fans breaking in again without paying, thus all surging into an already full middle terracing

3.the result - now they have had a good hand in making sure english fans cannot stand in football stadiums post hillsborough, resulting in piss poor atmospheres at most stadiums.

i know full well how this has affected leeds.even with an average team we still always won at home when it was all standing.since all seating atmospher has steadily declined, turning the once feared elland road fortress, into just about a slighty intimidating ground.

thanks scousers(the minority non paying ones, for spoiling it for the atmosphere of english football)

just been watching sky news an interview with a member of the hillsborough trust, whose son died there.basically he says the fans are a discrace, pulling down a fence in athens and pouring into the stadium, creating overcrowding again.these fans have no memories.

Scousers, robbing , surely not :o
