  9. They went through a lot of line-up changes post Peter Green. The Peter Green era is perhaps my favourite period. The two best albums after Green's departure and during Welch's time were, IMHO, the '71 Future Games and '72 Bare Trees albums. Fabulous cuts all, and tough to choose one or two. These were the last albums with Danny Kirwan, who was supremely superb in his own right. Woman Of A 1000 Years from the Future Games LP.
  10. Right you are about Silver Springs. A song of contention as it was about the breakup between Nicks and Buckingham. As far as I know there are only 3 versions. The live version, the one appearing on the Chain CD, and the re-release of Rumours had a slightly longer cut by about 0:19 as a bonus track.
  11. One of my favourite post Peter Green Fleetwood Mac songs. I could play this on loop all day. Songbird off of their '77 Rumours LP is another exceptionally lovely tune.
  12. Naomi Judd (d. May 1, 2022), one half of the mother/daughter duo known as The Judds, died of a suicide after a long fight with mental illness. The Judds with the title track of their '84 Why Not Me debut LP.
  13. FOR RESEARCH ONLY 55555555555555555 The physics of bouncing breasts and their psychological impact on the male. The Gazzarri Dancers to the tune of Whittier Blvd. by Thee Midniters and Ring Dang Doo by Sam The Sham & The Pharaohs. Check out the 2:00 minute mark. Does that remind of the old "follow the bouncing ball" from school days? And an interesting historical fact to go along . . . These dancers (especially June Fairchild) were the inspiration/ models for the first Twist 'N Turn Barbie doll.
  14. Nobody But Me by The Human Beinz with the Gazzarri Dancers. The 60's were tops for go-go dancers.
  15. Marvelous live performance. Cream performing Crossroads live at Winterland Ballroom in San Francisco on 10 March '68.
  16. Great song and apropos. And another anti-war song . . . Armistice Day performed live at Wanda Beach, New South Wales in '82.
  17. Pure mastery. The Great Gig In The Sky from that fantastic 20 Oct. '94 concert at Earls Court, London, England.
  18. That's some Sharona! The Knack with Good Girls Don't off of their '79 Get The Knack debut LP.
  19. Try this smokin' performance of Steppenwolf's The Pusher, Mutt Daeng. Recorded live at The Cannery, Nashville, Tennessee in '88.
  20. An excellent song put to an excellent video. How ironic that we create these weapons of mass destruction, some of which are now seriously being considered to be deployed by the most insane of our kind, and we idiotically class ourselves as civilised. Children playing with blow torches.
  21. French keyboardist, saxophonist and composer Jean-Jacques Kravetz with I'd Like To Be A Child Again off of his '72 solo Kravetz LP.
