  1. Carried away? I'm the last poster who would think about castigating you for that. Your enthusiasm is much appreciated and I look forward to your contributions. Carry on . . .
  2. Welcome to the club, DBath. Looks like you're going to give me a run for my money for the 'most prolific poster' title. Mutt Daeng is a close 2nd to me. Records are meant to be broken.
  3. More great Dutch blues with the Shakey Sam Blues Band on Little Red Rooster off of their '89 self-titled LP,
  4. Thanks, jvs. The Dutch had some great blues bands. This will be fun to explore. Edit: Too bad, no playlist to let you know who is playing what.
  5. The great Dave Van Ronk with Cocaine Blues off of his '62 Folksinger album.
  6. This is the first Carson tune I ran across some years back, but not this live '73 Sunbury concert. How stardom eluded these guys is a mystery to me.
  7. I just downloaded Carson's '72 Blown and '73 On The Air and this one will be my album of the year for new finds. Actually, I came across them a few years ago but hadn't listened to them in their entirety. What a superb double album. This Aussie blues band rates with any out of the U.K. or across the pond. Carson with Up In Queensland off of the '72 Blown album.
  8. Eddie & The Hot Rods with another live performance, Do Anything You Wanna Do, off of their '77 Life On The Line album.
  9. Eddie & The Hot Rods with a smokin' live performance of On The Run off of their '76 Teenage Depression album. Wish I was there. The energy of the crowd must have been massive. Now that's what I call rockin' the house.
  10. Like my pappy always said, there's more than one way to skin a cat. I should know . . . I've got ten of 'em. Not that I'd skin any of them, mind you, but . . . In my esteemable estimate this one's too good not to share. So here's one for your personal collections. 10 - Georgia.flac
  11. Now I'm fixated on posting a Bakerloo song title. So here's Son Of Moonshine from that '69 album.
  12. A wonderful rendition of Georgia by Bakerloo. A bonus track from their '69 self-titled debut album. Damn! Not on YT! I'll have to substitute with Hoagy Carmichael & His Orchestra from the 30's. Edit. Sometimes you can around these things by playing the full album. Alas, the CD reissue has two extra tracks to make 9 total. The reissue I have has 12 tracks. Still can't find that on YT.
  13. Steamhammer with Hold That Train off of their '69 Steamhammer Mountains LP.
  14. This makes me feel like going out to the pub to find me a sweet young thing to get laid. My memory is still intact enough to remember that! Alex Harvey with Bo Diddley Is A Gun Slinger. Also off of that 2016 box set.
  15. What rip roarin' fun it is to be 16 again!!!!! Any of you old farts who ain't moving to this may as well dig yourselves under right now. Alex Harvey with New Orleans, off of the same 2016 box set.
  16. Not only will you be twistin' and turnin' to Alex Harvey's Teensville USA but you'll be lookin' for a lass to swing around, too. Off of the 2016 The Last Of The Teenage Idols CD.
  17. And perhaps my favourite track off of that album. She's Leaving The Bank.
  18. What a beautiful song. It's from the soundtrack of the film. I'd never watched the movie but from the soundtrack it would appear to be a very depressing melodrama. Maybe I'll watch it the next time I'm down in the dumps. But I've been listening to the entire soundtrack and it's very somber. And very good. So I had to take a break from the grindstone and post a few more off of that soundtrack by Ry Cooder. Cancion Mixteca
  19. Otis Spann with Jangleboogie off of his '80 Half Ain't Been Told album.
  20. Otis Rush performing All Your Love at the iconic Wise Fool's Pub in Lincoln Park, Chicago.
  21. Luther Allison with a live performance of Living In The House Of Blues.
  22. Howlin Wolf with his '60 B-side single Howlin For My Darling.
  23. Junior Wells' Chicago Blues Band with Buddy Guy on Good Morning Schoolgirl off of their '65 Hoodoo Man Blues album.
