Try reading the Sun article. It gives a number of details about what exactly the dispute involved.

I read it and I didnt find any further details then what is on this article here. They came home from a shopping trip and discovered some construction activity going on on their property, they hired a lawyer and put a halt to the construction.

Any recommendations for a private investigator that is based in Pattaya? Thank you.

Try trueinvestigation.net or google true investigation thailand. They are not in Pattaya but will travel to where ever you need them to go. Worked for me.

Has nothing to do with Thailand. First you did not purchase enough kilos when you booked. All discount carriers are the same worldwide.

As we left for Ubon Ratchatani on the 23rd of December I picked up the wifes carry on and remarked it was too heavy. Being Thai she said not a worry one. Well at check in she was charged 1200 baht for being 2.5 kilos over and had to check her bag. Her ticket was 1100. So her baggage was more than the flight. Live and learn is what she said.

Again, when I booked my ticket the only baggage option was for 40 Kilos (see attached photo) but I lived and I learned.

  4. Was unable to check in online or purchase additional baggage as the app doesn't appear to be working. Its probably by design as the extra baggage purchase option also wasn't available when I bought my ticket. Ultimately, they charged me 7000 baht for an extra 20 kilos because it was less then 4 hours before departure. Another Thai lesson learned the hard way.

One option is to pack it to look like sports equipment and purchase sports equipment baggage which is separate and also up to 40kg. I flew with real sports equipment with 60kg total baggage a few months ago.I doubt they would check if it is real sports equipment at the check-in counter. In the end it doesn't matter to them much.

I had thought of that, Ill see what happens when I try to check in online.

  6. I'll be flying Air Asia next month from DMK up northeast Thailand. When I purchased my ticket I opted for 40 kilos checked luggage as that was the highest option. After purchase they advise that one purchases for excess baggage online or through the app. Both options offer up to 60 kilos BUT when I try to upgrade, it never goes through and of course there is zero customer service available other then "chatting with A.I. Bo". Does anyone know what Air Asia is charging per kilo for excess baggage or know of anyway of contacting customer service to enquirer about repurchasing excess baggage?

Thailand has tested 2,000 per million. Singapore is at 16,000. Australia 17,000. Thailand is in a low end group of testing countries whose results are considered wildly unreliable as result of the low tests.

Everyone agrees that lifting of restrictions requires a wide testing, tracing and quick acting isolation regime. Thailand has, on available evidence, none of those systems in place.

The lifting of restrictions is just going to see a surge in new cases unless the testing regime is massively broadened and improved.

Everyone agrees? <deleted> do you get that? I don’t agree, covid19 is a scam, open back.

Time for people to catch up with what's actually currently happening in Sweden. Sweden's per capita death rate from Covid-19 is among the highest in the world, Sweden is also facing a bad economic outcome due to Covid.

Way to gaslight bud, Belgium’s deaths per million is more then double Sweden’s. The UK, Italy, France and Spain are all higher then Sweden, nice try but most of us know how to google.

I'm just waiting for the next Instagram update a month or so down the road in California where she posts that she's been admitted to the hospital after contracting CV and is worried about being intubated.....

On a parallel subject, there was a LONG feature in the NYT the other day about a conservative Pennsylvania street preacher and musician who's a big fan of Trump and posted in social media how he believed the whole CV thing is a big media hoax and thus he never took any precautions like staying home, social distancing, mask wearing, etc.

He contracted the virus, as did his wife, while in New Orleans for Mardi Gras, and the guy died of CV alone (no visitors) in the hospital just a few days after being admitted for being unable to breathe. The world is unfortunately too full of folks like that.

Fat Tuesday was February 25th, I doubt that anyone in the US were taking any precautions ie: staying at home, social distancing or face masks, in fact there were only 53 total Covid cases in the US at that time and 39 of those were from repatriated persons so again, I doubt that anyone was taking any precautions. I’m guessing this was fake news, just like the trump supporter from New York that decided to take a cruise after Fox News said that cruises were safe, and to Italy no less. He got the virus and died all alone.

From Johns Hopkins as of May 1:

Almost 10,000 dead from COVID around the world per day.

    As for the U.S.:

In recent days, more than 2000 Americans have been dying each and every day from the pandemic.

The numbers speak for themselves. And by many accounts, the official stats probably continue to considerably undercount both the actual infections and deaths.

Actually, the numbers don’t speak for themselves as this is the latest from the CDC and a whopping 4 new deaths in the US as per worldometers, for yesterday.

  11. I use it everyday here in Thailand going on 3 months now, as well as when I’m back in my home country. I have an IPTV subscription that works here on Kodi and I watch tv/movies via either exodus or Seren. I have 2 amazon fire sticks and I just bought a 4K fire stick through lazada.

    Actually not.

Sweden: Population about 10 million,  2000+ deaths.

Norway: Population about 5 million, 200+ deaths.

But don't let facts get in your way.

How about we revisit when Norway opens up and they get their “second” wave which, because of their lockdown, will really be their first wave.
