  1. I work in the food industry in Thailand.

I am shocked and amazed in what I have seen, even in the best hotels.

With all the training there are nmany that actually follow when it comes to food hygeine and spoilage.

This is one reason as to why my position is available to me here.

  2. I think that 1/2 your problem is your attitude, as witnessed by your header "Obtaining" a Nanny. This is a rather derogatory manner in which to address your attempt in "Hiring" a Nanny.

    "You Reap What You Sow"

(Viz. One 'obtains' a Visa or a Degree. 'Obtain' is associated with an 'Object' not a 'Person' and most certainly not a person who would/could/should be very influential in the shaping of one's child !)

If you are not an English native speaker; please beware -and if you ARE; you should be ashamed of yourself.

    :jap:

PARDON MY ENGLISH YOUR MAJESTY I BOW MY HEAD IN SHAME TO YOU!!!

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ANY CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACK THEN I SUGGEST YOU GO FIND SOMEBODY OR ANOTHER FORUM TO CAST YOUR NEGATIVE ATTITUDE.

I am looking only for assistance in how to find the right person, I did not know this is the human rights red cross website.

  3. I have offered an end of year bonus, and all required days off. I know some people with nannies working for 5500 and doing great. I just had one for 8500 who could not do anything at all.

  4. Anyone know of a good live in nanny/maid then?

My wife and I have gone through 4 nannies.

Never had 2 at a time,

When we had only 1 boy the nanny was expected to take care of him and do household chores.

We offered everything but they always tarted good and burned out quick. Our son is not troublesome and is only 1.6yrs old. My wife also stays at home as she now just gave birth.

We tried cheap, expensive, Thai, Burmese and basically in Thailand they do not have the skilled training and love unless it's their own children.

All of our friends have experienced the same issues.

I would be happy to find just 1 person to do the job and I think it should suffice you too.

I even offered 12000 baht salary and got crap.

The best one I paid 5500 baht per month but she started stealing and we had to get rind of her.

  5. I have had 4 nannies come into our family and have had problems with them all.

2 didn't want to care for our son and only clean, 1 came and missed her partner and 1 cared for our son but had very bad hygeine.

When we first intervied them they all checked out fine and were ok.

Now when I search for a nanny they are all taken and all at very high prices compared to before.

We contact agencies but thy want a finding fee and do not guarantee anything or return money if the nanny does not work out.

Is anyone else experiencing these problems?
