Yes seems I posted in the wrong forum category, honest typo mistake... It should be “www.thaivisa.com/forum/forum/17-internet-computers-communication-technology/” but I typed “www.thaivisa.com/forum/forum/117-internet-computers-communication-technology/”….
Sorry, maybe one of the moderators can move the post...

We have two computer systems running a clean installation of MS Windows 10, the systems are identical with the exception that one has a AMD/ATI graphics card and the other a Nvidia graphics card.
With MS Windows 8.1, the graphic performance was very comparable – both graphic cards are the same price range so the performance specs are no surprise.
But with MS Windows 10, the Nvidia graphics card is much faster than the AMD/ATI. The latest stable AMD Catalyst driver is from 29-07-2015. If I try the 28-09-2015 Beta driver from AMD the performance returns to normal, but that also introduce errors like “irql_not_less_or_equal” accompanied with a Blue Screen of Death…
The performance of the Nvidia card even got a better with the Geforce 355.98 driver (22-09-2015), while it worked fast enough and stable with the previous driver Geforce 355.82 (31-08-2015).
If AMD/ATI would like to stay into the graphic card business they surely have to step-up the development of new drivers.
For the people who say why buy AMD/ATI graphic cards in the first place – it is because for not so long ago AMD/ATI graphic cards where better in performance per power consumption. With the latest generation chipsets, Nvidia offer better performance per Watt power consumption...

The Yamaha Nmax 150 is already available in Indonesia and several other ASEAN countries, a lot of people expect it to be introduced in Thailand soon...

Wrong, any motorcycle confiscated in Thailand for TAX or even traffic violations become in the end the property of the revenue department. The revenue department has auctions several times per year where they sell the vehicles that are confiscated.
The original owner of a motor vehicle has 1 year, after he was officially informed to fix the issues, after the 1-year the revenue will look what the value of the vehicle is and will sell it at a public auction where everybody who has a Thai TAX number and relative business can try to buy the vehicles....
Some police from rural police stations who confiscate so called invoice motorcycles from which the owner cannot even proof he is the owner end up as being used inappropriate by police officers... But it's now-a-day hard to find any police to ride a bike like that...
What you see in Bangkok often is a police officer riding a motorcycle without license plate, this doesn't mean that the motorcycle was taken from somebody … It means that the police officer is using his own motorcycle/scooter, which has civilian license plates on it but he removed them so people cannot find out what his home address is...

Hi RSD,Kawasaki Thailand doesn't sell the ZX-10R, and there's no Japan-spec restricted version of it- it sounds likes you got the horsepower rating for the Z1000 (the sales guys at Kawi screw up like that all the time)- Honda Big Wing only imports the restricted Japan-spec version of the CBR1000RR and its 116hp.
I meant to respond to this awhile back.
I don't know if it was a 'one off' for this particular dealership, but awhile back, my mate bought a brand new 2010 ZX10R off of the showroom floor from Kawasaki Chiang Mai. It was the only one they had and I haven't noticed anymore in my travels down there or heard from others. Maybe it was test case for a customer base? When I rode it, i noticed that it was way down on power compared to my Middle East spec (read: Japan export spec) R1. My R1 was a beast, but the ZX10R was asthmatic to say the least.
The Yamaha YZF-R1M will/is available in Thailand for a few bath under 1.2 milllion Thai baht is is fully unrestricted... see http://www.motorcycle.in.th/article.php/2015-Yamaha-YZF-R1M_Better-than-Best

I have sometimes the same problem, for me the problem is that most devices connecting to one particular Wireless-Router, WIFI-Access point, etc connect at 802.11n or 802.11ac what works 100%, but when a “older” device, which only supports 802.11g, is trying to connect it cannot even see the router...
I have this problem with several routers from several manufacturers. The solution I have found to work is that you first connect the 802.11g device to the wireless and after that you connect the 802.11n and 802.11ac devices.

I would not spend that much on large amounts of ram or a expensive processor. You didn't specify the video editing software you going to use so not much I can say about that, but Adobe Photoshop is still 32-bits software, and most games are 32-bits and use not more than 2-cores from the processor.
Recently I build for a friend a computer with a Asrock Z97 mainboard and a Intel Pentium G3258 processor, 8GB (DDR3 1886Mhz) memory, and a Nvidia GTX660ti graphics card. The Intel G3258 processor is unlocked so you can run it basically at any speed. We run it at 4.4Ghz, with the standard CPU cooler, and the CPU temperature did not got over 65c degree, which is well within Intel's specified maximum temperature of 72c degree.
I was amazed that this budget computer could beat my Intel i7-4790 (3.6Ghz), 16gb (DDR3 1600Mhz), and similar graphics card....

I would like to directly address the op's questions.
All Thai motorcycle helmets are made to the Thai industrial standard. AFAIK, the current standard for motorcycle helmets is still TIS.369-2539. If you are interested you can look it up, but it is all in Thai.
IMHO, the Thai helmets made to this standard are crap. Your Index full face helmet may look OK, but for me just looking OK doesn't make it. I want to see test results, specifically impact tests. AFAIK, the only Thai helmet that meets the DOT and ECE standards are the REAL helmets, but you can forget about the Snell standard.
What I also find very interesting is that the Thai helmet industry is a protected industry. Imported helmets are subject to a 100% import terrif, which also includes the shipping costs, and then an additional 7% VAT is added to the total. So a decent imported helmet bought here will cost you more than double.
I personally wear a REAL helmet, but it is heavy. I've had some real good discussions with people as to the effect of the weight, which AFAIK has not yet been taken into consideration by the DOT and ECE people, but I hope someday soon it will be and added to their standards.
To summarize, don't trust that Thai helmet to protect your head in case of an accident. It's sole purpose is to protect your wallet from the police.
You can find all information about the TIS 369-2539 standard in English here: http://www.motorcycle.in.th/filemgmt/index.php?id=257

The Pulsar is indeed from Baja Auto, that can explain the Kawasaki sticker http://www.motorcycle.in.th/article.php/Kawasaki-Pulsar-200N_Launched-in-Indo
The Ducati sticker is like just a dealer which found a new way to sell more bikes

Spending 10,000 THB on a muffler just to get more sound and maybe a bit better performance? I would buy a blind-rivet pliers and a small pack of blind-rivets, plus a hand-drill and the right size metal-drill...
Depending on how the Kawasaki ER6 muffler is closed you maybe need to drill the welding spots, for which you bought the blind-rivets and blind-rivet pliers to to reassemble the muffler... With the hand-drill you can drill a few extra holes in the internal pipe, easy to recognize as it already has many holes and is packed in fiberglass-wool...
And if you at the Do-it-yourself shop anyway you should check if they have some good quality fiberglass-wool so you can repack your muffler after you have opened it.
The total cost would be well below 2,000 THB and you can fine-tune the sound of your muffler exactly how you like it... More holes to the end of the inner pipe make a deeper (bass sound), holes more to the front of the pipe make higher pitched sounds... also the diameter of the holes have effect on you exhaust sound...

Median computers sold by Aldi are budget computers, nothing wrong with that, the only problem is that budget power-supplies are often the source of problems.
If your computer was as dirty/dusty as you say, it's likely that your powersupply doesn't work correctly anymore. Maybe you get 3.1Volt instead of 3.3Volt, or you get 11Volt instead of 12Volt. This is often enough for the strangest problems with computers (including automatic shutdowns).
The good news is that a budget powersupply is not that expensive, you can buy standard 450Watt powersupplies from 350 to 500 THB. The amount of Watt depends on your computer configuration, but I guess you not have an expensive graphics card in your computer and the processor is probably also not the Intel or AMD top model.... so a 450 to 500 Watt budget powersupply will do the job...

Never say “I will pay cash”, as that is something many dealers not want to hear. A car or motorcycle dealer makes a good amount of money (commission) on selling you financing...

You'll buy very old cpu for hd playback?
If you have gpu that supports 1080p hardware decoding, then any cpu would do it.
Or, you can buy an intel nuc for cheap at ebay and play any 1080p file you want.
The parts I use are from several of my old computers, it also includes a Seagate 320GB and a 1TB (32mb cache) WD Blue harddrive. I maybe will buy a new case as most new cases have dust filters and better airflow... and cost about bht 1,400 so not a big deal

I’m planning to build a home server for files and streaming media to my TV, I will use Linux as my operating system. But the question I have is not really related to the operating system…
The mainboard I have is a Asus P5K, with 4GB DDR2 800Mhz memory and a cheap graphic card.
For processor I have two options; 1 option is an Intel E4300 and the second option is an Intel E6550. Which processor should I select and why?

I tried to find a manual for Wave 110i, but seemed like none in English.
I was able to find it online in Spanish (Waves are sold in South America),
which was close enough for me to glean the data I needed.
Bueno!

New Honda CRF 1000L Africa Twin
in Motorcycles in Thailand
Posted
The main reason for the delayed Honda CRF1000L Africa Twin delivery date is because of an earth quake. Not much Honda could have done to prevent it, avoid it or change it. That Honda close the factory is something we should praise as a positive thing, it shows that Honda finds the safety of its workers more import than profits... No shame in that.
