  1. Am I right in thinking that when you re-enter Thailand using a re-entry visa the 90 day reporting procedure starts again? In other words you are back to day 1.

I have a work permit and have to make a trip to England before I complete 90 days from the last registration. So when I re-enter Thailand can I wait another 90 days before reporting my address to immigration?

    Thanks

  2. Sorry to be such a big kid, but a few quick PS2 questions?

Does anyone know if the new slimmer version of PS2 is being sold in Thailand yet?

How much is the original PS2 console being sold for in Bangkok?

Which DVD region are most of the PS2 games that are sold here in Bangkok?

Would someone buying a PS2 in Dubai be subject to paying tax on it when arriving in Bangkok?

    Thanks ... :o

  3. In brief, I have been working here in Thailand for 6 years. I have been engaged for 3 years and my Thai girlfriend went to England with me last year for 6 weeks. She's got an English degree and now living and working for a Middle East Airline.

We want to get married next spring and wondering if it's possible to do this at a registry office in England bearing in mind that we have a maximum 14 days over there.

We have no plans to settle there, so the problem of a resettlement visa is not an issue. Just wondering if anyone knows the situation regarding get married over there while on holiday ... and also if the marriage HAS to be registered over here in Thailand too, which might affect her land purchasing rights. Over to you ...
