Xmas 2022 before we have a positive vibe regarding tourism in Thailand is my guess. 

Over 60 Phuket hotels are now no longer on the Sha+ list of health accreditated resorts according to a website. 

People are being asked to check and rebook other hotels if it's their accommodation. 

It must be impossible to stay open and cover costs any longer with the low number of arrivals so closing up until times right I'm guessing. 

 Vaccinated people have to quarantine ????.. Nuff said!

Agree mostly with what you state but Gold is a hedge rather than an investment. As the monitory system starts to implode care needs to be implemented when investing but I would and am looking to invest in many areas for my portfolio other than Fiat! 

Gold is a hedge against Fiat currency devaluation and inflation but not a Great investment based on the previous 10 years.. You might want to see how regulatory rules effect crypto then look to purchase coins. NFA. 

I would like to see the Daily Departures vs Arrivals including domestic ( NOK AIR)  then we would see if its expats etc using  Phuket as the entry point then its pretty easy to work out little money is being spend.  .

NOT even counting the minibus or private hire departures.

I doubt it exists Thailand still has around 8 Trillion Baht in foreign Reserves as of May this year.
