I haven't played the sequel yet but the first game was actually pretty good. While horror games and movies doesn't scare me, it's fun scaring my family ????

Funny seeing how all gov't projects progress in this country. They always begin with expressing their thoughts in media and after some internal discussions it always ends up in the same bowl of <deleted>.
It's been exactly the same for as long as I've been here. No difference between the one's in charge in this country whatsoever.
In fact, it's not just exactly the same, it's same, same, a Thai phenomenon.

That does not look anything like a human face lol

Chocolate, ice cream, corn, donuts, lobster, croissant, syrup, ketchup, marzipan, potato chips, popcorn... lol
None of these are food dishes. There's even more on that list that is questionable. It's like CNN had to fill the list with more nonsense just so they could justify having something on the list with the American flag.

Trams in Thailand lol.
Perhaps in BKK, Pattaya and Phuket at best, but not in any other cities where everything is randomly scattered around. People live and shop all over the place. Nothing is organized in Thailand so no one goes from specific areas, say living areas to shopping area. No one is going to sit in these things for decades while they go through hundreds of hoops and sois to collect people. They might be inspired by European cities, but they're delusional if they think Thailand can compare.

Looks like the traditional and simple Norwegian donuts, with or without glaze... that are sold for 3 baht in donut vendors. Actually these look a lot fluffier (filled with air to save cost), which makes them more similar to the traditional pastries literally called "the poorman's pastries" (fattigmann).
They're getting ripped off if they pay 40baht for 3 plain donuts when they should get 10-15 for that price.
Anyway, now back to actual news...

I'm sure tourists will be overjoyed to look at the endless lines of dilapidated Chinese cargo ships passing by the beaches everyday. These totally environmentally friendly Chinese cargo ships is exactly what is needed to restore the sea life farangs has destroyed. What a brilliant idea, just like the implementation of ฿100,000 fines for smoking at the beaches. Super idea. It will take Thailand from 4.0 all the way to 11, no questions asked.

On marriage visa.
My visa expired in May. I went to immigration 24th August and asked if I needed any stamp or anything before going to the Embassy. I was told no, that everything was ok, but they told me I had to hurry up and needed to come back before the month ended (before August 31.). I took an airplane to BKK actually the same day and got the stamp the next day. Then I went to the Amphur to get a copy of the marriage papers before getting an airplane back. All in just 1 day. Did the process at the immigration the next morning. Now waiting for the final process to finish the 16th this month (in 3 days).
From what I understand it was lucky I went when I did and not dragged it on until this month as it would be too late.

Funny how this even is news. More than 150 people gets nominated every year (Each member of the parliament is free to choose one). Next to every country in the world has a few Trump supporters among the members of their government. No shocker. He's been nominated every year (to my knowledge) since he became President. Trump got 1 (one) nomination this year, not even two, and we're not even into the voting part yet, that isn't done by the parliament, but an independent organisation, the Nobel Peace Price committee.

The MG is certainly in the mix if a bit small (we need the 3rd row on occasion). It would be perfect for my daily commute (50k each way, highway speeds not a lot of traffic).
Ah I see, the ZS EV would be too small. In size its somewhere in between Fortuner and Juke.

Give me a Mu-X/Fortuner sized SUV with 250km range at a price comparable to a similar diesel vehicle and the charging infrastucture to support it and I'll buy one tomorrow.
MG ZS EV (SUV)
฿1.190.000
150hp/1,500kg
340km range
Google map shows charging stations, but there are also dedicated apps for Thailand that probably are more up-to-date.
Here's a 1000km challenge by Tesla-Bjørn in Thailand driving the MG ZS EV. A comparison between Thailand and Scandinavia at the end.
Is it a great car? Since my wife is a manager at MG I've borrowed the car a few times and I can say I think its a good car. I've never driven or been in any other EV cars so I can't compare, but it felt good when got used to it. Not the greatest car out there, nor the cheapest, but it looks good, interior is decent, has a decent amount of features, it drives good and you'll save money.

But he got infected somewhere, by someone who's potentially infecting others as well.
And to minimize the risk of spreading the virus, shouldn't the one's who has been in contact with the man be quarantined for two weeks?
Just saying, we all have spent all this time and effort this year to minimize the risk of spreading the virus where ever we go in Thailand, and now suddenly equal precautions don't apply? Why?
Ah! "Officials"

What kind of advise is that? Isolation for 28 days when there's no reason to. Talk nonsense like that and no one will listen, even when good advise is given.

Beirut = 2,750,000 kg ammonium nitrate.
Oklahoma = 2,200 kg ammonium nitrate.
Oslo = 950 kg ammonium nitrate.
New Dehli = A briefcase with ammonium nitrate.
Videos of the aftermaths...
2020, Beirut, 150+ dead, 5000+ injured, thousands+ buildings damaged (over half the city, 20 sq.km+).
1995, Oklahoma, 168 dead, 680 injured, 258 buildings damaged.
2011, Oslo (few people were working due to vacation), 8 dead, 200-300 injured, buildings within 400 meters were significantly damaged.
2011, New Dehli (briefcase placed outside high court building), 15 dead, 79 injured, few buildings were damaged.
Clearly it should be taken seriously. Handing out 48-hour-ultimatums is just ridiculous. How about some proper reports and spreading the amount of ammonium nitrate (and other highly explosive materials) between storage locations and outside of populated areas?

"the fatality was a 26-year old student"
Yet we keep hearing only old people have to be concerned.
No we don't. People with underlying illnesses are at the highest risk, meaning the older and fatter you get the more likely you are to have underlying illnesses. Statistically that's just a fact, but it has never meant younger and slim people aren't at risk, most people have known this for months already, its literally in the news on a daily basis. Not even healthy people are risk free, but statistically you're at much lower risk of becoming seriously ill.
However, the statistics of anyone contracting Covid and getting permanent damage (lungs, brain etc) is a lot higher than most people are aware of, even among asymptomatics. Mild permanent brain damage could even be a common result of Covid scientists says, as we know Covid affects the brain (smell, taste, vision, nervous system, seizure, stroke, fever, tiredness, headache, loss of speech, loss of movement etc). How severe and what it means in the long run is being studied, and will take years, perhaps even decades, of observation and testing.
But, the healthier you are, the less likely you are to be become seriously ill.

The survey was clearly about whether Thais want foreigners coming now, during the pandemic. Most said no, so do I and most of you said the same when the gov't wanted to open the borders for Chinese tourists, which I also agree with.
Call it what you want, xenophobia or not, can you blame Thais for not wanting foreign tourists coming now? Of course it's based on fear, but to call it racism is just ridiculous. They have their damn good reasons. Quarantine or not, you only need one idiot slipping through to start a new wave. Anyone want another lockdown?
That's what the survey was about, so cut the <deleted> guys.

The article says people have not been able to go home due to closed home borders, which countries have not allowed its citizens to return ?
Very few, if any, but I doubt people are walking or swimming home. Several countries still haven't reopened for air traffic to Thailand, and/or fully booked for as long as until the end of the year, and/or tickets (+ probably a lot of extra expenses if its not direct flights) are extremely expensive, so yes there are limitations for some people.

Sadly 99.99% of Thais are completely clueless and they wont even notice anything before the CCP is beginning to restrict the very basics of Thai norms, and then its already too late, unless the West do something drastic very soon.

Holy basil no defence against Covid, say health officials
in Thailand News
Posted
There`s the problem.
A "department" that recommends buffalo poop as cure for stomach ache is the exact reason why you got so many people in Thailand believing holy basil and all kinds of nonsense is going to cure anything to begin with. The best cure this department can do is shutting down. The effect that will have on Thailand will be so revolutionary that it`s on the same scale as Thailand`s introduction to antibiotics. It`s a childish woowoo department with zero reasons to exist.
