Just when I thought, I heard it all...

Yeah! It's so nice to see political differences play out in another culture! It's like a carneval!
What tools!!!
Dead, injured, paralyzed people.
Shootings, bombings!
...and a country on the brink of civil war, with thousands of people not getting paid for rice or laid off from their jobs!
Just like carneval!

What exactly constitutes protesting?
If I walk down the street that the protest is on; does that mean I am "protesting" and are therefore going to get deported. What if I happen to be wearing a whistle, or happen to have wearing a large foam hand; does that qualify as "protesting"?
Nooooo...you are just describing everyone's daily attire...

I'll have rocket salad with parmesan chesse, tomatoes, parma ham and balsamico for starters, 4 Cheese pizza with black olives, lamb- chops with princess beans and roasted potatoes and Khao Niau Mamooang (with sweet coconut milk...not the salty stuff).
With that, I would like a good sparkling mineral water and a liter of crystal white beer.

I have to name 3:
1) "Achtung, Baby" by U2
2) "Steve Mc Queen" by Prefab Sprout
3) "This is the sea" by The Waterboys

Serves him right, we were all warned about the possibillity of deportation if we joined in with any of these silly protests !
Do any of you know what the word hypocrite means?
When just by the mere fact of commenting on a forum with your opinion about the situation politically you are joining In the protest, are you not?
So we are all just as guilty as this man, what's the difference?
Tell me how i'm wrong
And lee b I'm so glad you think these protests are SILLY, it's just helps confirm my opposite opinion to you, let's face mate your not the sharpest tool in the box are you?
Just by calling these protestors SILLY you are joining in the protest are you not? and according to the government you deserve to be deported.
Soooooo...following through with your opinion, everybody who is commenting on Thai -politics, somewhere in the world, could be banned from entering the kingdom?
TAT will not be happy!
This is an international forum- how am I joining the protest, when I am commenting on it?
I am not a part of ManU's last match, just because I have an opinion on it and voicing it!

My guess: the Army is just waiting for "enough" blood.
"Only" one victim here or there- that will not do it!

Whereas I think, that in a democratic country, every citizen - and I would "living there, working there, paying taxes there" define as some kind of citizenship- should have the right to protest...this is Thailand!
It is NOT a democratic country, it has at least 2 laws that prevent an open discourse about...stuff... and it has given out a clear warning in writing and action (deporting other before).
So IF you are some kind of "foreigner", you should stay off the streets.
Sorry to say: he (probably) knew about the risk, he took it!
Nevertheless: it is a completely moronic action!
I expected no different!

Right, NO foreigner have a right to go for protest, this is a Native Thai Nation issue and Business. That what I exactly hate in my country or back in Europe, foreigners come to our country's and going on the street to tell us what we should do and what there rights. <deleted> you all,if you don't like the country you visit then leave it !!!!!!
Yeeeeeees...a little sunshine, aren't ya'?!
It never occurred to you, that people who pay taxes in "your country", might want to have a say, how their taxes are used?!
Oh...let me guess: foreigners just come to YOUR country, because they want to suck on the teats of the social welfare state, right?!

Protesters/Suthep should go close all Passport issuing offices in Bangkok, to stop Yingluck from applying for a passport, to be used to escape.
Oh, I see: you had a clown for breakfast...

What an unspeakable and unheard of crime!

Not that I condone idiocy, but a drunken 18-year old stole a phone...and gave it back!
That lands him in jail?!
God, I am so happy I haven't seen far worse crimes here, that went unpunished!(# redbull)

"Talking gibberish on protest stages might play well to the local audience..."
This pretty much sums it all up!

He is warning the banks?
I wonder, is there anyone in the country he yet didn't warn over this or that?

just a waste of time and money...keep on voting for corruption you fools:whistling:
It was not all a waste of money and time, it will help see how the people feel
This was not an election
But a chance for the people to decide do they want
1) Taksin in for a dictatorship, as there was only 1 major party to vote for
2) A chance for a better Thailand by getting rid of ALL the corrupt politicians FROM both sides
As we have idea which one will get the most response, so we need to wait
Wife was told by a friend whose sister was working in a polling booth counters where amazed how many blank voting forms where put into the boxes.
Just maybe you can fool some Thai's some of the time
But I will be happy when you can not fool All the Thai people all of the time
Except if your the one we are counting on to get Thailand moving
and you can not even put your vote into the right box
We all understand Big brother was not there to tell her what to do
Aaaaahhh...so much time has passed, since we heard of the well- being of your wife!
By the way: you missed to make clear, that she is your Thai- wife...we might have forgotten!
Apart from that: you are a fool!
You are complaining that only 1 major-party was to vote?
1) So? There were plenty of other choices!
2) The "other" major party decided all by themselves to opt out! You really want to blame this on the people who exercised their right and duty to vote?
You are laughable and a troll!
Really, really sad!
