I did a 90 Day Report at the Jomtien office today. Although there is a TM30 stapled in my passport, the officer did not even look at it.

Don’t know, I walked here.

Still opens at 11:00. I’m here at 10:50 and not open.

Mr. T now charges ฿1100 each way. Just picked up a new business card at their office on Soi Diana Inn yesterday. New price is reflected on the card.

Not over yet. The mass exodus from Pattaya begins tonight.

Successfully processed today. The TM-30 lady told me that a new TM-30 is required every time you leave country and come back, even if on long term visa. Must be processed within 24 hrs of arrival or house owner will be fined.
-
They processed my Non-O extension ( Married ) end of March without the need to submit TM30
though it does say here that submitting TM7 notifies place of residence.
I believe that only applies to your first extension. -
Ok so it seems they now want TM30 for retirement extensions but not for "family" extensions of Non-0
Not sure if that is true or not. But they wouldn’t process my retirement extension. -
And what if the rental contract is done through a real estate agent? Why would a tenant have access to owner's house registration documents when he's not dealing with the owner.
You’ll have to ask Immigration about that. The day I went, many people were turned away based on improper/incomplete documentation. There is only one lady that processes the TM 30 applications at window number 10. Her English is not great either. It is a very slow process. As with all things at Immigration, this could all change next week. -
So you had a Non immigrant O-A visa ?
I originally had a Non-Immigrant O visa when I came to Thailand in 2013, which was good for 90 days. I then processed an extension of stay based on retirement. Up until this year, a TM 30 was not required. -

While waiting, I also saw applicants and/or landlords paying a fee (fine) at desk 10. Couldn’t see how much.

Don’t know if this has been brought up before, but a TM 30 is now required at Jomtien Immigration when processing an extension of stay. There is a new window number 10 just to the left of the door which processes the application. The application is picked up at the front desk. Required paperwork is rental agreement, TM 30 application signed by owner, copy of owner’s ID card or passport, and a copy of the owner’s book. If applicant is the owner, a copy of passport and ownership paperwork (book) is required.

I've seen several PVC pipe guns on 2nd Road this year. In one instance, BIB standing there watching.

They will be back open on Tuesday the 18th.

Ten days in Pattaya!

Today, 5 Apr, no electricity. Sign on the door says no electricity 08:00-17:00. Actually, the doors are open, but they are not processing. You can pick-up passports already turned in, but nothing else. Tomorrow, 6 Apr, closed for holiday.

Sitting in a bar on Soi Buakhao and the baht buses seem to be running at normal intervals.
-
I'm on Second Rd right now, and the baht buses are definitely not stopping at designated bus stops. Wednesday night I did not see any on Soi Buakhao, but haven't checked today.

As of this afternoon (2 hrs ago), there was no evidence of any boats or trailers being removed, at least at the north end by the boat ramp. Looked like business as usual to me.

If you would like, I will provide the previous month's SMS which will show the $10 deduction at the NY branch.
-
Yes, exactly $4000, before it used to reflect $3990 on the SMS. I fear they will stop providing this service just because of this. Anyway, I did not think it was illegal, I read somebody filed a class action suit to that effect.
AliExpress, Amazon customs duties and modalities?

One thing you have to watch out for when ordering from Amazon and shipping to Thailand is that sometimes the voltage specification for items in their catalog is 110. This is especially true for small appliances. Check before ordering!
