  1. What's happening with Torres in the summer then gents?

I reckon we will give him another season, especially as this could be Drogba's last one, not sure about renewing Kalou's contract either so we will be short up front...obviously will be splashing out if we get a new manager.....again :-(

Ask the boy on the yacht.

    You still up there BirdDogHiddink?

    Classy managers get classy workers.

I think few & carefully selected partners / monogamy & regular STD tests are the way to go, if only for a relatively simple life. Thats as a general personal philosophy.

Regarding Thailand figures for STD, I treat them the same way I treat all statistics I'm shown here, with scepticism. This country & the rest of SEA has a prostitution industry which differs on a fundamental level from the West, in that a lot of the girls here started out very poor and work to buy food for their families back home. In the UK many streetwalkers started out in comfortable homes, and became drug addicts & the prostitution was just the quickest way to pay for the over-priced junk. This is a generalisation of course, but from what I've seen in interviews on TV, a lot of these girls in SEA send money back home that they earn on the streets, and they started out of poverty not addiction.

    Be careful about generalisations.

Gather facts, engage brain and then use your mouth.

Reporting facts would be statistics. What do you mean you don't deal in Statistics?

The world is managed by statistics. Science is statistics. Medicine is statistics.

Sorry but you can't talk to human being intelligently without using statistics.

    Oh yes you can.

    You got a tgf?

  3. now India is back from strike ..

'Trading closed with a premium of about 10 dollars for gold and about 12 cents for Silver compared to US close on Thursday.

because India has introduced recently a 1% special tax on precious metals trading?

You seem to have an answer to every question Mr Naam.

The questions that matter get deleted.

    Never mind.

most facts (like the one above) which i post are either ignored, negated or labelled negatively if they do not comply with resident prevailing wishful thinking. an undeniable fact is that India has introduced recently an additional tax which will not be scrapped because some "dreamer" posts the irrelevant and unwarranted comment "you seem to have an answer for every..."

The never-ending price hike of gold rates seems to have an adverse effect on gold traders following the additional taxes levied by the Union in this year’s Budget.

Speaking to reporters on Monday, S Venkatesh Babu, member of All India Gems and Jewellery Trade Federation (AIGJTF), said, “There has been a constant increase in our business. One per cent custom duty has been increased to 4 per cent, in addition to the 3 per cent central excise duty and 2 per cent of VAT. Likewise, when it comes to cash sales, 1 per cent for cash transactions of `2 lakh is being paid.”

“With this kind of decision, various illegal activities like smuggling and black markets will flourish, and affect middle class people who are already at the receiving end. They will suffer from price rise,” he warned.

    Probably best ignored Naam.

    I'll settle for varnished wood.

    Careful on the bar stool.

  4. DM said before the Wigan game that his team against Barcelona will be quite different.

I think he'll pick a team capable of going forward and troubling Barca at the back.

For me Sturridge needs to be there because he can cause damage against top class players.

I don't think Frank should start because his presence will lead Chelsea to play the kind of game that there will only be one winner of.

If PC plays a blinder in goal I think we've got a chance.

I'm just checking now what sort of line up we had that was successful against Barca last time... before the Norwegian ref stepped in.

DM will have had a close look I reckon.

Surprisingly, there's not a lot of difference between the personel of both teams compared with 2009 and now,Kam'.Alex,Anelka and Ballack played then but won't be playing now and Barcelona will be without Ya Ya Toure and Eto this time. The only difference is that they've gone forward and we've gone the other way.It was certainly a tempestuous confrontation then with Drogba at his nastiest.Nowadays,he's become Mr. Nice Guy,patting oponents on the back and pleading with the referee in their defence, when he's about to brandish a yellow card.

I much preferred the horrible, cheating, diving Drogba to the one now.Let him be reincarnated for first leg at Stamford Bridge, please!

Yep. Agreed oldgit. Anelka and Drogba were a mighty force.

Need some muscle up front. Ballack was very classy too.

    I have faith in DM.

  5. I'm gona be in Bangkok for the Chelsea vs Liverpool game on May 5th, shall we have a little meet up to watch the mighty blues smash the bin dippers? :-)

Hey Seapok. Why cut their heads off when they are already dead?

  6. I like Gary Neville. Been there and done it, and no bullshit.

Keith, Oldgit, Mr Red. May the force go we with you.

You still with us gogobar8. Looks like you gone missing?

His last post was a sort of Daft Vader farewell.

I'd still play him in my team though. Good value if you are in a ditch fighting the enemy.

Do some research on Russian prostitution and then post your analysis?

  8. Take care Guys. Soeychanloy speaks the harsh truth.

If you're going to spend your life in The House of the Rising Sun best to be emotionally and physically well armed.

    Full metal jacket required.

But a personal plea from the heart Guys....Let's not forget all the good things that there are in Thailand.

    All the best.

So of all the people HIV positive in Thailand what percent are or were hookers? Since you mentioned the House of the Rising sun I assume you know.

I don't deal in statistics. I don't know. Gut feel tells me if you f*** around you are at greater risk.

    Listen to Soeychanloy.

  12. I hope Di Mateo is thinking alonf the tactical lines put forward by the oldgit. He's right and thats the only way to beat them.

Drogda's an excellent battering ram and maybe, just maybe Torres might decide this big stage is the time to be a world class footballer again.

Ramires playing a type of Claude Makele role infront of your center backs wouldn't go amiss either.

It's a bummer that we have to face them at Stamford Bridge first. but as for the first leg.I wouldn't disagree with your saying,Mr. C.We must be positive at home to enable us to go to the Nou Camp with any sort of chance.Ramires is vital to our midfield as he's quick.I would play him centrally as he's wasted stuck out on the wing.I definitely wouldn't play Lampard and Mikel as I can see them exposing their lack of pace.Mereilles is running into form and should start.Peter Cech is the best goalkeeper for distributing the ball in the Premier League as he can kick with either foot and has a mean throwing arm.I would like to see him tossing bombs to Drogba and Torres, who I would both play,to bustle up their defence. If they're both not up for this game then they must be comotose.

Mata must start centrally and I would play Sturridge as support for the front two, preferably one-on-one with Puyol.

Not arguing with any of that oldgit.

  13. Anybody got any viagra to re-erect some missing posts?

They're only missing if the poster was clued in! Ask Dr. Fugmyleksomboon, he'll tell yah.

Sounds like you know something I don't.

Anything close to the bone (no pun intended) seems to go off the road.
