aha.......so, the trasparent proxy is something that basically allways work....that you use when your anonymous proxy doesn´t...in order to blast through to find a new proxy at a blocked site?
Domain name or IP address is same thing, only resolving make it different, you can tune 192.115.106.236: 8080 or proxy.bezeqint.net: 8080 .....will work both way.Ok......but a transparent proxy as you say will still be numbers, right? (not proxy.bezeqint.net 8080I mean that this proxy will let me "cheat" on True network and get to samair.ru/proxy but it's not anonymous proxy. Servers will see your real address and record it into log.With True/Asianet it depens on routing if you can get to samair.ru/proxy or not.Anyway if it's blocked for me at given moment, I put transparent proxy from one of the international providers like this: proxy.bezeqint.net 8080. What the heck is a proxy anyway. carn. I have no problems going to www.samair.ru/proxy. It's a site with about 20 pages of those proxy numbers, right? What do you do with them? Sorry it doesn't work for you, the reason seems to be your internet provider. If I click on the above link (http://[email protected]/proxy) with my True connection I get straight through, (I can also access www.sportsbetting.com), but when I try the same links with a CSloxinfo dialup connection I get the same as you, (Page not available).

the thing is....if I could use the provider I had in Swden I would have no problems whatsoever with surfing BUT...its the phone cost, and thats the problem (otherwise we would just use any good provider anywhere)...question:
can one establish a channel/line (or whatever) from an thai internetprovider to a swedish provider and then surf from the swedish provider?

Just been checking out a little cheat which could be useful for you.
As you know http://www.samair.ru/proxy is blocked by the police as are your bookies etc. One very simple way around this is that instead of writing
http://www.samair.ru/proxy write the following
http://[email protected]/proxy
Actually you can write anything between http:// and the @, the web site will see it and totally ignore it.

Your paying more for the 038 one as QoS is more quarenteed, as with the 1222 there will be a set amount of bandwidth for all connections 2 the 1222 domain which will be much lower than that of the 038

This invisible site does'nt seem so good, I have only manged to get a couple that have worked and then very slowly. A proxy is essential here with the increasing levels of censorship.
so its just about luck?.......must be reliable proxys somewhere, right?

I have 2 cards , one 63hours for 750bath using a 038 number
and an unlimited 60 days 329bath using a the 1222 number
now: the 1222 is sooooos low one cant use it (but the connection speed says 40kbit)
the 038 number gives 36kbit BUT goes MUCH faster.......
how can that be??

Maybe the techies will back this up,but don't go to your personal sites such as banking,while using a proxy.
Nothing 2 be very concerned about, all paswords/data will be sent using SSL 128bit encryption, its only ever been broken a few times afaik and certainly not by the sort of people that would want to steal bank details..
I would say you should be much more carefull about trojans keylogging on yer home computer, and just simple keyloggers on public computers, as when you type the password into the computer its not encrypted at all!

Yes you can use as many browsers as you like, although most Banking sites require Internet Explorer be used , they say for security reasons !!!
For general browsing get a copy of either Firefox or Opera
Probably not a good idea to use a proxy when visiting a secure site unless you do a whois to find out who actually owns the proxy server. Most proxies are college's, medium and large companies, ngo's or government departments.
There is no telling how long a proxy will work for, sometimes hours sometimes months. Some of the bigger web pages are updated regularly some weekly some occasionally. The better ones give lists according to speed, country or whether they are anonymous or not.

what I mean by using 2 browser is if one can get the 2 browsers to operate at t he same time but with different connections....proxy for one and the normal connection for the other one...?
next question would be which browser to use beside the explorer,,,,firebox or eudora

My wife and I also maintain a house in Sydney which has a small 5 node LAN always running, static ip, DSL, blah blah etc...
If I can't access a site in LOS, then I simply "Remote Desktop" to one of the windows machines on the Sydney network and use that session.
So if you have a windows box overseas that you can access on a fast network, then this is also an option.
