Shut down apparently. Don't have any details though, sorry.
-
All I can say is that I did actually contact them directly to confirm what exactly they needed as I had read conflicting reports. They replied that a copy of the WP was enough, and thats what I have been doing ever since.
Hull does seem to be the most easy going of the consulates though.
-
If you apply to Hull all they need is a copy of your work permit. I've done it several times now.
From their website:
Evidence substantiating purpose of visit:
Extra evidence, as detailed below, is required only for Non-Immigrant Visas Categories “B” and “ED”:-
Category “B” = Letter from sponsor or copy of company documents or valid work permit

Found the email - was sent out on Monday:
Dear All
Due to ongoing election on Koh Samui, we regret to announce, Samui Jazz Vol. 3, originally scheduled for 25st July 2009, at Samui Park Avenue, has been postponed until next month. We humbly apologize to all the sponsors and fans for this unavoidable situation and thank you, as always, for your kind support. As soon as the new date is determined, an announcement will be made on our official website www.samuijazz.com
Please get ready for what should be remarkable event on Koh Samui soon!
-
The one on the website is last months.
-
^ It's been postponed because of the election. They sent out an email a couple of days ago.
-
^ Have to admit, I found myself thinking along the same lines.

Bought a small compressor in Tesco - not expensive either.
-
Quite a while I would think - have you seen her?

Hows about these managers of the Home Countries to add to the list.....
Scotland: Ally McCleod
Wales: Bobby Gould
N.Ireland: Sammy McIlroy
Now if you had said Berti Vogts - Ally McLeod is far from the worst Scotland manager ever.

...Daily News...Koh Samui ...Samuang House Resort...
Bannork, I searched for what you say was published by Daily News but could not find any link:
You wouldn't - it was published in Thai not English.
-
The facts are above your post.
-
Thanks for clarifying that Thai Bairn, with both of our points now established we all now know the full picture.
Hope you didnt take my post the wrong way, as we were talking about how soon before the ferry time that you could book, I assumed your comment was on the same track. Also there were a couple of posts before yours that were claiming the same thing.
No worries!
-
As I said in a previous post I have actually booked the ferry by phone whilst driving down from Bangkok on the same day, however some posters are still insisting it is a week in advance so I have just telephoned seatran and had it confirmed that you can book up to 3 hours before the due ferry. If anyone else wants to argue this point further then the seatran number is 077-251-555, and I suggest you check first.
If that is aimed at me - I meant you can book up to a week in advance, not that you had to book a week in advance.
-
You can only book up to a week in advance.

Just for a change of scenery I am planning to do a visa run from Pattaya next week.
Will be arriving there mid morning and was wondering if anyone knows if any of these companies have trips leaving around lunchtime? Would be nice to get the visa run out of the way so I can do some sightseeing

It's been replaced by the South African movie channel.

What do you think "flower of Scotland" is all about???
I'm sorry Jockstar if I'm going a bit of topic in your Glasgow Ranger's thread but I've never liked the "Flower of Scotland" as our national anthem. It tends to be more associated with the rugby than the football. Give me "Scotland the Brave" anyday.
No one knows the words though!

agree mate. The majority of the fans are fine. Its the minority who ruin it.
A minority of the bigot brothers fans are bigots?
Must be a big minority!
If you knew yours facts. Most decent supporters are trying to stop all this bigotry. At least at the games. Who wants their team kicked out/fined/told to play behind closed doors in Europe? No one. So its about tiime the fans sorted this is out. The clubs are trying to. Its 2007! Some people live in the past. This goes for both sides of the old firm.
I know my facts alright and while it may be a minority at Ibrox it certainly is the majority who Follow Follow to away games that have a problem. Just ask any non-OF fan about the bile they spew when either half of the divide visit their ground!
As one Ranger's fan on the BBC website admits "The only way we will rid ourselves of this is for the club to refuse away tickets".
Pretty much sums it up really.
I was at a Falkirk-Rangers match last season and anyone who really believes it is a minority are kidding themselves - unless you class a minority as the entire away support.
As for Saturdays result................

Is there any chance at all of getting a multiple entry (with WP) in Hong Kong?
I'm going to be there the week my visa runs out so I don't have any choice other than to apply there.
Your chance is almost nil. Chance of getting a single 90 day visa is good.

Oh well - single is better than nothing - will give me 3 months to decide where to go next!
There is one thing I am not too clear about - what paperwork do I need to submit when I am the Managing Director of my own company? Do I need to write a letter inviting myself to work - seems a bit strange - plus I have a work permit so I am already working.
I have emailed and faxed the consulate in HK but they don't seem to like me as they haven't responded.

Since when was 'git' swearing ????
-
People did die in the floods - not many - don't know their names though.

Charming how people are more concerned about the car than if anyone was hurt. (They were by the way)
