Like the rest of you mob and probably everyone outside of the Carlton fanbase, I'm still wondering how the <deleted> they got a primetime slot. I thought the AFL came out last year and said something along the lines of Carlton are too shit to have any primetime action next year or was that St Kilda v Carlton v Gold Coast matches wouldn't be primetime slots but against any sides it's a free-for-all?

Looks like leather poisoning finally struck Tommy Mitchell down... Broke his leg and out for the season... Poor fella... Probably would've been the first player to crack the million dollar price tag for the fantasy leagues...

Well draft night and the saints are looking for a key forward. McCartin turned out to be an absolute flop. What is it 5 years and still only played around 12 games.
Could be worse.. You could be a Carlton supporter who's had the pick of the litter for the better part of the last decade and still have nothing to show for it...

Damien Barrett saying talks have broken down, reckon it's a done deal then Kelly to be an Eagle ????
EDIT: Nope, Barrett pulls a cat out of the bag and gets one right for a change, given 1 minute to go, was a pretty safe bet from the warrior... lol...

Still waiting on Shiels, Kelly and Beams.
Shiels done and dusted on the futures market (round 1 & 2 next year) along with Pick 9, he's off to Windy Hill.. Beams looks set to star in an off-broadway threesome involving the Doggies (Brisbane getting the deal here with Collingwood's first rounder this year and next plus a packet of wagon wheels).. Kelly looks likely to stay.. T minus 7 mins...

Deal is almost done...Neal has gone and they recon within the hour Hogan a Docker and May a Dee....
Kinda glad as well as peed im over talk every year of going home....hear it to much....NFL and Soccer players don’t give a rats where they play, think the players use it as an excuse I also think some clubs use it to target stars, latest is Koch telling Suns not to trade in any Sth aussie kids as they will be trying to lure them home in a few years....Koch also put his foot in his mouth with critique of the runner Bolt who looks like might be playing for Central Coast in the ALeague ....
Sent from my iPad using Thaivisa ConnectAll done and dusted...
Neale to Brisneyland for a packet of Four'n'Twenty Pies and a slab of XXXX Gold...
Hogan to Freo for what looks like a slab of Emu Export and a tin of fisherman's friends...Lobb also following Hogan west for 2 packets of iced vovo's... With Freo getting a packet of skittles and a couple of minties...
EDIT: But the Dees don't really lose out too much as they've just been handed May and Kolodjashnij along with pick 6..

Chooks will be happy to hear that the Saints have landed Dan Hannerbery for a couple of lifesavers and a piece of juicy fruit...

Plenty of movement at the station today....
Polec and Pittard from Port go to North for Pick 11 and some future fan dangled super chip from rumoured to be in the human testing phase at Red Rock..
North send Ryan Clarke to the Harbour City for a packet of pringles which was regifted to them by the Swans after sending Gary Rohan down to the Cattery.
Chook's might be a tad upset losing Tom Hickey for little more than half a tim tam and a four'n'twenty pie next season.
Tom Langdon from the Pies is in the Harbour City being seen to by the Docs, not sure if being prepped for a trade or in for a check up before he goes on holidays. Word is a bit of column A and a little of column B...
Swans not done yet as they traded their first round pick, currently 13, to Carlton for a couple of 2nd round picks (26,28 & 40) so they can lock away their Father/Son pick, son of Assistant Coach and heir apparent John Blakey. Works out that the additional picks give the Swans a fair wad of points.
Mitch McGovern heading in the opposite direction to brother Jeremy, in a switch to the old dark navy blues. The Blues only having to part with Pick 13, some fella from the local auskick and half a jatz cracker...

Cool, we needed another Ruck with soggy biscuits.
Never underestimate the power of the Vovo! But agree, you're probably paying overs for him...

Ahhh the silly season is upon us...
Lynch to Punt Road for a couple of tim tams and iced vovo's, North a day late a buck short again, Gaff surprising even Julie Bishop that he's going to stay on and a handful of other murmurs and innuendo and that was just the talk between Somsak and Somchai over who had the best Somtum on the soi...
Busted Swans speedster Gary Rohan looks set to join the Cats for a reported packet of jatz crackers and a free AFL Live Pass for 2019, reports that the exact details of how many devices can use the AFL Live Pass next year is holding up paperwork being lodged.
Talks are stalled between Saints and Swans on Hanners, Paddy McCartin is pushing to be included in the trade but the Swans are standing firm that he can't be considered, Lethlen apologised for Paddy's behavior apparently he bumped his head getting out of his Uber this morning and he thinks he's back at the rookie draft. Talk has shifted to on trading the packet of Jatz Crackers to keep McCartin a Saint for life...

'Tis the silly season after all...
QuoteDUAL North Melbourne premiership player David King has stepped down from his trade period TV hosting duties after being charged with driving under the influence.
King recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.10 in the early hours of Wednesday morning after being involved in a minor car collision, in which no one was injured.
King said he accepted full responsibility for his actions and would do everything to earn respect back.
“After having some end of season drinks, I made a terrible decision to drive and was involved in a minor incident with another vehicle. I was subsequently charged with driving under the influence recording an alcohol reading of 0.10,” King said in a statement.
“I deeply regret my poor choice to get behind the wheel and am embarrassed and ashamed of my actions, I am thankful no one was injured.
“I’ve not only let myself down but more importantly my family, friends, workplace and the public who I put at risk.
“I accept full responsibility and any repercussions which result from this.”
King was due to co-host The Trade Lowdown on Fox Footy during the upcoming AFL exchange period.
“I’ve stepped down from my upcoming Fox Footy trade week hosting duties,” he said.
“I know I’ve lost a lot of respect and will do everything I can to earn that back.”
In a statement, Fox Footy said the matter now sat with the judicial system.
“We are aware David King was recently charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. FOX FOOTY does not condone this behaviour and takes the matter very seriously. We know David deeply regrets his actions,” the statement read.
“The matter now sits with the judicial system.”

Pretty hard to go past Tom Mitchell for the Brownlow last night, poor barsteward's been suffering leather poisoning all year...
Jack Higgins snagged Goal of the Year, Luke Parker pretty stiff (in my not so humble opinion)..
Good to see Isaac Heeney plucking one from the sky to jag Mark of the Year... Definitely one for the highlight reel...

Ahhh... it's the annual "Who Punches Above His Weight" Medal.. I mean Brownlow night...
Alex's young pup Todd Viney probably leading the pack but not too far behind would be Jason Johannison, Jack Gunston from the Hawks also doing pretty well for himself.. Wowee...
Josh Kennedy always doing pretty well for himself as are his fellow Red & White cohorts Parker, Mills and well Buddy's a gun and he's done pretty well for himself too...
Multiple punching above weight medal legend and hall-of-famer, Chris Judd is also in attendance...
I need a cold shower... I mean Chang... Beer... I mean I need a cold beer...- 1

Can't remember who said it last night during the commentary in the first quarter, probably BT, but it was something like "at least nobody is getting blown away" and sure enough the flood gates opened and Collingwood went on a rampage..
You'd have to wonder if Collingwood have enough left in the tank for the big dance...

People on the east cost fly to Singapore, spend the night and have dinner then get a flight to Perth. It's much cheaper than flying direct to Perth
Yup that's what my West Coast mates do as well... Better standard of flying... Rack up the Frequent Flyer points... Duty Free shopping.. Four Floors of Whores etc etc...

Oi Rip! What's behind this mate? If anything just keep on this thread! Aside from this thread I post on only one other thread because the rest is a cluster bukkake of gibberish and armchair nonsense...
This thread is truly one of the keepers...
But if it's because you took out the tipping this year and are bowing out on a high, I also understand hahaha

Heard from Somchai around the Som Tum cart earlier tonight saying that the All Australian Captain is selected based off of how hot the missus is.
His missus, Somkid, said the rule was recently brought into play following recent allegations that Gill intervened on behalf of one of his Cousins former Au Pairs immigration issues by calling the Immigration Minister and failed libcoup leader Peter Dutton.
Strange times...

Morning lads... that was all a bloody nightmare on Friday night wasn't it? Surprised NSWPD's SRG wasn't called to the SCG on Friday night, biggest robbery in the state's history!
The umpiring decisions aside, Swans are looking <deleted> ordinary. At 0-2 it's not panic stations and I'd argue it won't be even if we start 0-6 like we did back in '17, but for the life of me I can't figure out why the boys are playing this long bomb to 3 on 1 packs, it didn't work the first 300 times you tried it, why the <deleted> do you think it will work on the 301st time! Lower your <deleted> eyes and hit the target 20m in front of you, turn and go...
And Eddie, oh Eddie, how many times does he have to take a shot at Sydney before someone taps him on the shoulder and tells him to <deleted> off back to the Holden Centre for good? He came after us in 2013 when we jagged Buddy from nowhere and CoLA got banned, he came after Goodesy in 2015 and got a stern talking to, now he goes after our #1 Ticket Holder and gets told to stand down for a day. I mean. This <deleted> guy. Move over Eric Moussambani, McGuire's the new Eel... Eddie the Eel.. Slippery Rex Hunt...
His apology was as empty and hollow as the space that used to be occupied by his brain was, completely scripted and clinical.
