  1. What a masterful put-down. Not only of an individual parroting an agenda, but of the ideology itself. My only disagreement is your view of when things will change ... it certainly won't be with the "...next election" in the UK. Low-class Brits start taking in socialism along with their mother's milk and that nasty resentment of people better off than they are lasts a lifetime. It's a generational thing that will not change anytime soon - or until the last communist is strangled with the guts of the last woke progressive.
  2. Talk about "Wealth beyond the dreams of avarice" that takes the cake. That said, she is probably just doing her duty - as she sees it - by fronting for other members of her corrupt clan.
  3. For sliced whole wheat I like what comes from JJ Bakery and is available at Rim Ping, Iron Bridge. Nana Bakery for French bread and many other baked goods. l'Opera for everything except sliced bread.
  4. The facts in this case are out and beyond dispute. He is trying to rehabilitate his image. A weasel if ever there was one.
  5. So true. She is about as articulate as Kamala Harris.
  6. Point to the head, it's obviously brain damage.
  7. CIA? Mossad? Subject him to some enhanced interrogation and find out.
  8. Mamma mia, dario... I'd like to find the same thing - a good Italian deli. Ragu Rustico Italiano in the (now defunct) Promenada Mall was an excellent restaurant that also had a small deli section. Sadly, just a memory now. You might try asking around at the better restaurants where they source out tbeir Italian ingredients. Buona Fortuna!
  9. It sounds like you are having some problems of your own in expressing yourself. Maybe you caught something from one of them.
  10. This sounds more like the goings on among a den of thieves rather than people who are entrusted to teach and enforce the law.
  11. My Thai wife and our two grown, and successful, daughters will provide, they tell me. I hope so. A return to the US is something I wouldn't even want to think about nowadays.
  12. That nanny-state mindset goes far beyond the BBC and far beyond the UK. It is one of the main reasons I, and so many others, gladly left the Faranglands never to return.
  13. Amen bro. The same could be said about Thailand vis à vis the USA .
  14. Oxford... as long as they don't lay it on too thick. The people speaking it are usually intelligent and courteous also.
