can it be printed in color? each photo has to be A4 size. for example, if you have 4 photos each has to be in A4 size or all 4 photos on A4 paper?
Yep. this is just how I do it. Other approaches work as well as seen below.

Comprehensive.
I needed FEWER documents than you listed when I renewed my marriage visa at CW a few weeks ago (tm30, kor-ror 2, blue book, etc - never needed those).
Glue and scissors I also always bring.
As for your "Personal Comment" that has also never been requested of me/us.
But I fully agree to have a list of documents in ones files (mine is not as neat as yours) so that next year will be smooth sailing.
That is so interesting.
My wife and I somehow always end up at the desk of the team boss, because while she handled us she always gave instructions to other staff coming by and asking her things.
I dunno what makes us so special. :-)
Is it perhaps because I use the 400k on the bank? Maybe they scrutinize those a little more?

Fantastic report. Thanks.
OP, you mention TM30. I wonder if this was required or you just provided that and accepted by io.
Also copy of every page of pp with Thai immigration stamp should not be required.
No TM47 required?
I did not put it to the copies and noone asked for the latest 90 day report.
Last year the immigration lady looked it up in the system and made a comment about it, but also did not ask for a copy.
Passport copies: They took all of them and left it with the documents handed in. I guess - without knowing for certain - that at least all pages since the last extension should be copied.

I'm kind of obsessed with documenting this.
So here is everything you have to do, if you're married to a Thai national and want to extend your stay for another year.
Documents needed for one year extension of marriage visa – sorted in official Chaeng Watthana order (as far as I observed)

The under consideration period is now just three weeks for the 2nd time. So I will be able to pick up the final year stamp on 31.01.2024.
Pink line to Immigration and back
We used the pink line. So upon arrival, there is taxis waiting below the station. We picked one and turned left into the 2nd road, that goes all the way to the immigration entrance. The first road is Chaeng Watthana Soi 7 and the station is about in the middle of those two access roads.
On the way back my wife asked and the shuttle departs from the middle entrance and exit, gate 1. Since the building is called B, it is the gate B1. From there the free shuttle took us to the beginning of Chaeng Watthana Soi 7 in about 5 minutes. Then it's just a 2 minute walk to the Pink Line station.
Personal comments
My wife always has to go and make copies of about half the documents after they have been stamped by immigration. I presume it is the same for everyone under the marriage visa.

This is the best thing to happen to my immigration situation in years.
So strange. In my case it is the opposite.

I returned from Switzerland on July 7, also no TM6 and I had to do none of these things. Just fingerprints of the right hand, photo taken, stamped and I was back in.
I have a non o visa with a reentry permit.
Maybe this process only happens with tourists?
-
I was in Chaeng Watthana last week. I just had to fill out a form, that no contact with Covid infected happened the last two weeks and so on. Neither did I have to show a vac certificate nor a negative test result.
It's quite a useless procedure, but I guess they feel better doing it.

A slight correction: the requirement for an embassy income letter is required for all nationals except those from Australia, UK and US.
The team head at Chaeng Watthana did not mention Australia. But I'm sure, that she mentioned Canada. I guess, she might just have forgotten to mention Australia?

So I assume you don't have a regular income (pension or the like) to be testified by the Swiss consulate?
In this case indeed 400k method needed.
That is correct.
-
Call me stupid, but I came to the conviction that I, as a Swiss national, can use the income method for the yearly extension of my non immigrant O visa based on marriage to a Thai national in Chaeng Watthana Bangkok. I had the statement ready for 12 monthly transfers of at least 40k THB from an international source from Bangkok Bank but no affidavit of my embassy.
The answer from the immigration: They strictly and only allow the income method without embassy affidavit for Canadian, UK and US citizens. Everyone else still needs to bring it. They were nice and offered me a 60 day Covid extension and recommended me to come back as soon as I have the 400k on my account, which I achieved a few days later.
Well lesson learned. Due to epidemic situation I took this as a hint of destiny to go for a vaccination in my home country, so I'm out this Sunday.
At least this is now clearly answered in this forum and I was the Guinea Pig to try it. ????

So a one year lease contract +owners signed Id card isn't enough? You need copies of ownership contract and the owners tabian Baan too?
I think, they wanted the ownership copies, because the tabien baan was wrong. So, I guess, it normally is not required.
I brought the tabien baan, because it was on Ubon Joe's list.
Maybe it works to have the tabien baan copy ready but to only hand it over when asked for it?

First you said you had the tabien baan from the owner, but wrong tabien baan. Then immigration wanted a tabien baan from the "real owner", suddenly you changed from owner to landlord, which is not same thing. A bit confusing imo.
Ok, sorry,
My landlord told us, she was the owner of the unit, but she wasn't. According to the sales papers her uncle was. And that is, what the immigration found out.
The tabian baan was not the one from our condo unit, but another one.
And please be forgiving to people that do not have English as their mother tongue. ????

Thank you fir your report.
Did you do 40k int deposits or 400k?
Did they ask for source of funds?
I had 400k on the account since 2 months and two days. The lady checked it and did not ask any question.

OP, just to clarify. You mention that previously you used ME marriage.
When you attended CW what permission of stay was in passport.
My last visa stamp expired mid June. I then made one 60 day extension followed by this one year extension now. Despite the amnesty I wanted my visa to stay valid. That is why I did it this way.

Here's a short report of my experiences yesterday, July 22, in Chaeng Watthana, for the one year extension of a non O visa based on marriage. It was my first time. Before I always did the multiple non O based on marriage in Savannakhet.
I arrived at 10:30 and went to Bangkok bank downstairs, paid 100 THB into my account, updated the bank book and got the bank letter. A fee of 100 THB is charged for the letter. Then I made the necessary copies.
For all the rest of the documents, that you need, use Ubon Joe's list: https://forum.thaivisa.com/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=551691
At 11:00 I got my queue ticket with a number in the 110s and the queue was in its forties. So I knew, that I certainly won't be served before lunch. So my wife and I strolled around the market, that is there on Wednesday, had lunch, etc.
Tip: If you scan the QR code on the ticket you can open a website, where you can see your queue status live. So no need to sit in there. Just check the website until just about ten are waiting in front of you, then go back into the visa room. The hilarious thing is, that this system is on a break from 12:00 to 13:00. In that time you will get an error message.
It was our turn around 14:00, which was quicker than I expected.
When the lady started to check our documents one problem turned up.
I rent an apartment and the owner had given us a house book/tabian baan-copy, but it turns out, it was not the one from our apartment. So always let your wife check if it is the correct tabian baan.
So then they told us, that if our owner sends us the necessary documents by line app and we print them out, they will still accept our application: They wanted a copy of the ownership document and an ID of the real owner. Turns out, the real owner of our apartment was a relative of the landlord. But she could send us the documents and our application was accepted despite that mess, that was not really our fault.
The supervisor in Chaeng Watthana told my wife, that all they need is that correct tabian baan of the owner for the right apartment plus the signed ID copy of the owner. But I guess it is still good to have the apartment's lease and a set of copies of it with you just in case.
At 15:00 we were finished and I will have to return in a month to hopefully get the full one year extension for my non O visa stamped into my passport.
Thanks a lot to everyone posting their experiences, which helped me a lot. And special thanks to Ubon Joe for the list.

One more thing - if I do get blocked on a fresh Kor Ror 2, is this list accurate for the required documents for a 60-day extension?
- TM7 form (get at immigration)
- Original passport & photocopies
- Original TM6 & photocopies
- Original marriage certificate (KR3) & photocopies
- Copies of wife's ID card
- Copies of wife's housebook
- Copy of lease (we don't live at the address in housebook)
- Wife herself to attend in person
Or do we still need signed copies of the owner's ID card and housebook for this extension too?
Things I think are only required for 12-month extension, not 60-day:
- Bank book
- Bank letter
- Kor Ror 2
- Photos of myself and my wife
- Hand drawn map to our home
If I've got any of those wrong, I would love to be corrected. Thanks again.
They sent me away for the 60 day extension of non O marriage visa because of missing Kor Ror 2 about 40 days ago. So in Chaeng Watthana you need it for the 60 day extenton as well.
I also had to do the drawing.

I recently changed from METV s to non O me based on marriage. When I was on the METV I tried many banks to open an account and was unsuccessful. What were your experiences opening an account on non O me.
I recommend Bangkok Bank. If you get a letter from your embassy certifying, that your passport is genuine, they don't seem to care about the type of visa.
They didn't ask me for any proof, that I'm married.
-
Dear all,
I tried to read as much as possible in the current threads about the non O visa based on marriage.
My situation is as follows:
Western European nationality
Non O multiple entry visa expired April 18 (issued in Savannakhet).
Last 90 day stamp expires June 17.
I opened a local bank account and as per July 20 it will have 400 000 Baht on it for two months.
My goal is to switch to a one year permit until next year.
Should I go to immigration in Bangkok and extend 60 days, so the visa stays valid? Or do I not have to do that, because it would stay valid until end of July anyway?
I'm getting mixed opinions about this, so I'd like to hear your thoughts.
Thank you all very much in advance.
-
I'm in a similar situation just a few days later than you and also preparing for the 400k solution.
Can you or anyone confirm, that the 60 day extension is done by immigration? And that they're not saying to return end of July? I will be going to Chaeng Watthana for this in June.
Thanks.

I still got in from Phnom Penh to Don Muang, yesterday on March 20, evening, without certficate and insurance. I was just out of Thailand for a visa run. It should still be possible to fly in from not badly affected countries and not having been there for the last 14 days, today Saturday. From today midnight the new rules with certificate and insurance will apply.
All this without guarantee, that it will work, but this is what I was told.

Before going to Savannakhet I researched for new infos. I wanted to go for my 2nd multiple entry NON O visa based on marriage. I found contradicting remarks about what to hand in precisely. So here you get the list, of what I, citizen of Switzerland, handed in. Guess it will be the same for all Western countries.
Here's precisely what I handed in:
- Form downloaded from here - I just handed in the front-page.
- Two passport photos glued to the form - The photos were slightly bigger than the rectangles on the form. It wasn't a problem.
- Original marriage certificate - They just have a quick glance at it and return it to you afterwards.
- Copy of marriage certificate signed only by my wife
- Copy of my wife's ID card front and back side on one piece of paper, signed by her
- Copy of all tabien baan pages, each page copy signed by my wife - just the inside pages, a copy of the cover is not necessary
- My passport
- Copy of the personal details page of my passport signed by me
- 5000 Baht - I mentioned I want multiple entry as this option can't be ticked anywhere on the form
Next day I picked up the visa. The sticker has a new design.
Lessons learned this time:
Never go for a new visa just after Songkhran. I waited 1:50 hours to hand in my visa application - I was number 75 - and 50 minutes to immigrate to Thailand at the Friendship bridge II - both in the current summer heat, but even hotter than in Bangkok.
I hope this helps
Best regards to all

I was recently acquiring an SETV (Single Entry Tourist Visa - regards Catoni) from Phnom Penh. I had lots of education visas and tourist visas in my Swiss passport and got the visa without much problems. The lady handling my application was giving me bit of a hard time - as with anyone, just seemed to be her method - was saying, I might not get one, but I did.
I provided a bank statement from a Swiss bank, the copy of the flight out ticket, a passport copy and a photo.
I had to go to the embassy itself, as an agent, that went through my passport, shook his head and said: Too many visas already. :-)
So why did I get the visa? No idea. Maybe a nationality, that they like?

100% sure, no.
You could have divorced 3 months ago and present a Kor Ror 2 from 4 month ago. So I think it better be recent. Otherwise there might be questions from the immi officer.
