thanks tgeezer, it's my first extension so it should be 2 months? I stayed one year with a non O based on marriage then I'm requiring another year with 400 000 proof.

Now it looks like it's going to be even more complicated than we expected, we got a paper to fill where they are asking a lot of questions, like how much money I'm getting every months and from where, what is the job of my wife, how much in her bank account. Unfortunately we have nothing because we put all in a shop we opened for her.

I thought I would just have to show 400 000. We are super worried now, trying to be prepared for all possibilities, I invested everything here so even to come back in France it would be with a huge loss and we are far to be rich.

thanks Ubonjoe, I think I got the difference between extension of stay and visa, thanks to Elviajero, as long I'm in the country it's an extension of stay, now if I can't get this extension and need to go outside the country I will need a visa.

I updated the bank book as well yesterday, I added 500 bahts just to get an historic but they seem adamant that we need a statement, I will try with the book bank too. We will try to get the bank letter next Monday and do the extension of stay after. What happen if they insist that it needs to be 3 months? also could it be a problem to be on overstay?

They are usually nice but I think they get pissed that we came at 3 pm and just one day before the end of the visa, they forgot we called them when we lost the passport, possibly they will be in better mood Monday.

I found my passport but unfortunately a bit late. We went yesterday to make a new extension of stay based on the 400 000 required, it was 3 pm and they close at 4:30 so they didn't have time and get a bit pissed they still checked our documents, told us that the statement from our bank wasn't the one they need and it should be 3 months not 2 months, furthermore the statement has to be before the end of my visa.

My visa end today 18 November, we went back to the bank but they couldn't make this statement because they are not the bank in which we opened the account however they will try to persuade the other branch to change the date of the statement, this branch is not open on Saturday so we it will be on 20, hopefully they will accept to change it for 17. My first question is, do we really need the statement to be before the end of the visa.

My second question is about the 3 months required, I asked this question previously on the forum and was told 2 months, I'm pretty sure that they also told us this at the immigration, let say they changed this and it's really 3 months, I put the money on 23 August, in 5 days it will be 3 months, could we use an overstay? this wouldn't work if the statement has indeed to be before the end of the visa.

Thank you Ubonjoe, the French embassy is not very efficient and full of surprises but it would make sense that they offer this possibility. I will go to the police station then the embassy tomorrow.

Could I still get one year visa after an overstay?

I got a 1 year non 0 visa based on marriage, it will expired in 5 days, the immigration told us we could get one year again with 400 000 bahts proof. I wanted to go today but unfortunately I can't find my passport, my children probably played with it, I spent hours searching for it but it seems nowhere.

I'm French I tried to contact the embassy but get only a recorded message. I suppose I need an emergency passport but on the documents required on the embassy website they mention a paid flight ticket, which make little sense as I want to stay here.

What happened if my visa expires before I get the new passport?

if it was the bladder tank why would it run smoothly now?

I brought it to a shop to replace it and the technician working there told me that the bladder was probably fine and I should look into leakages instead.

The water pressure was stable and the pump was running with long or constant cycles. I connected the pump directly to the water line because I needed to move the tank, strangely it was running smoothly so I'm wondering if the problem could come from the pressure or leakages.

I mean to connect it directly to the water line without using my tank. Strangely the pump is running normally now, without touching anything and when using the garden hose which is 40m far from the pump it run constantly. It could be due to some leakages on the water line. I will reinstall the tank and glue the pipes properly and see.

@Nisakiman, I understand your point but there is a huge difference between a fire camp and making coal, at the fire camp there is not much smoke but coal is only smoke.

Even without the numerous studies on wood smoke it's easy to guess how bad it is to daily breathe dense smoke  by hearing them coughing all day and by seeing how short is their life expectancy.

Thank you, I will contact them at least to know the price but I will try with the pump connected directly to the main line, last time it was running continuously, could it be a problem about the pressure from the tank?

where could I find a bladder tank? global house or home pro? is it possible to order on internet?

regarding the pump guy I read that most of the time they are just messing with the pressure switch screw.

Thank you very much Wayned, I bought this pump 2 or 3 years ago and I think it has always being on short cycle, however one time I connected it directly to the main water line, without the tank and the cycle was constant. Also when I open 3 faucets at the same time there is no short cycle.

this time I tried to adjust the screw with a hex key, half turn clockwise, I heard a pop from the bladder and still the same short cycle

I did this several times already, it usually improves it a bit but this time it does nothing

Thanks Wayned, the pump run with short cycles, I read that the fastest solution was to mess with this screw...

there is another screw, both visible screws are fully tight

Thanks for your advice Morch, we didn't intend to become a fixture and we never implied it but if already on this forum people jump on this conclusion I guess than this neighborhood could think the same. Just the fact that our garden is clean when they are living in middle of their trash could be an insult to their way of life. Whatever we will keep doing what we have being doing this last 2 years and just say nothing, in few day their wrath will pass.

However beside me complaining or blowing off some steam what I really want to know is how bad this smoke could be for my children, I know it's very difficult to assess. I searched a bit on google and it seems that wood smoke is carcinogen too but from which concentration it becomes a concern?

Regarding the improvement in the awareness of pollution it seems it won't happen before long around here, my wife told me that in Issan they are more and more careful and used the speaker to inform everyone of the danger of wood fumes.

Just now one of them wanted to hurt us by making a huge fire with a lot of plastic smoke but she did it in her house and the wind turned, she is running everywhere yelling to stop the fire, we can't stop laughing. สมน้ำหน้า
