Thailand does the math: Two are dying per hour on the Thai roads
SuwadeeS replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
They might made their Math, but never learn their lessons. Anyway. The Thai statistics is properly wrong. I do strongly believe, the dark figure will double it. The real number with traffic fatalities is around 30.000. There come many point together. Why? 1. The traffic increased. 2, The traffic got more dense. 3, People get more aggresive. 4. Kids without proper driving skills get a motorbike. Even thought it is against the law, parents still buy motorbikes for kids as young as 10-12 years old. 5. Then the old people I do know many old Thai, who do not have a proper reaction time and even can not see properly, means their eyes are down 75-80 %. But guess what? They are stubborn and deniable. 6. I see every hour uncountable traffic law violations. Means nobody really cares. Even the police. E.g. I know a police box, which is always occupied. But they always look away. Within 5 minutes I saw almost a thousand traffic violations. 7. As a matter of fact, nobody really care. So let them all die in accidents!!!! Whoever goes into danger will perish in it. -

Would you pay THB25K to watch Liverpool v United in a friendly?
SuwadeeS replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
People should wake up and consider it from my point of view. How long does a normal football fan in the UK etc. work, to be able to buy a ticket? It will be approx. 2 to 3 hours work, then hge/she can go to buy a ticket to watch this kind of football game. Now go to compare ir with Thailand....... The cheapest ticket is 5000 Baht going up to 25000 Baht. Who in Thailand earn this money within 2 to 3 hours? Normal Thai people? I don't think so. Even thought, they must travel here, it is still a rip off. People should get smarter and start to consider. -
Russian Tourists Struggle to Leave Thailand Amid Russia-Ukraine Crisis
SuwadeeS replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
In my opinion, the Thai Government should take position for Ukraine. Fact is most Russian who are able to travel and ignore the truth of Putin attack. Fact is, I have seen a lot of Russian decadent behavior. Fact is, many people ignore the truth of the attack on the Ukraine. Fact is, Ukraine is a free democratic country, which is recognized by the UN. Fact is, Russia/Putin agreed to the independence of the Ukraine when the withdraw all nukes. All this makes it a criminal act of war. The most people must be Putin supporter, otherwise the would raise there voices. But since this not happen, all these Russian need to fee the sanctions. Do not forget!!!!! Putin let bomb and murder civilians!!!!! Over and over again. -
First of all, Here is some prove, that Thai people are very lazy to walk. All this I have Seen or experienced. 1. Even for the smalles distance of 70 Meters to Mini Big C they take a motorcycle rather then walk.( Seen more then once at my Condo). 2. They love speeding in the City, which Burns more fiel. 3. Thai do Not have any Environment thinking. 4. Thai did Not enter the new environmental Spirit yet. Use gasoline as never empty. Compared to other countries, Like in Europe, the prices are to cheap.

Anutin: Thailand's handling of the pandemic "best in the world"
SuwadeeS replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Self-praise stinks -
Thailand will neuer change. Thailand was, is and will always be the top road death for these reasons: 1. The traffic laws are not strictly enforced. 2. People can easy bribe to go away. 3. The government does not revoke or suspend Drilling licenses. 4. The tickets are a joke. 5. If they would copy The German or Swiss style, the fatality rate would drop. 6. Strictly enforce the speed Limits, safety belt, helmet regulations, and Start to suspend licenses. Since the Thai government is unable/unwillig to do the above, nothing will change forever.

My clean answer is: No! 1. Appearance is important, but not the most important. 2. Thai women are well known to be not so faithful. 3. They have a high Gold digger mentality. 4. In real life, the mentality is quote different. After 2 negative experimente, they won't get a thirth Chance. Over all, I do prefare now Filipina.

Thailand road carnage continues: 12,000 dead this year so far
SuwadeeS replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
1. Fact is, the police does not enforce the traffic laws. 2. Nobody cares about road safety. 3. They said, they want to bann motorbikes from sidewalks and reward people who report with pictures. This never happened. 4. When people enter a vehicle, they switch off their brain and turn on arroganz and decadence. I could continue forever... -
Absolutly useless. If the government really interested in make some changes, then they should follow the German or Swiss model. What do you think, why they have only few traffic fatalities? Because in Germany and Switzerland they have a strict traffic law enforcement. Very easy to get the driving license suspended. In Thailand... just 200 or 500 Baht tea money.
