Specifically not OAP, but more to do with long term issues Pension Credit, UC, PIP AA payments, Sickness payments, housing and so on.
Absolutely correct, with the aim of tracking down many of the above payments
which are sent abroad by fraudsters.
Unfortunately, this in turn will have the effect of ensnaring OAPs living abroad and
still claiming a UK address to maintain a full pension.
The good news is the DWP says it is only going to be rolled out on a test basis from
next year and then take five years to fully implement..

All the more satisfying the fact she never saw it coming.

Anyways, what were you doing at Big C today,
was it your birthday.
Pretty sure I was behind you in the coupon queue
waiting for you to reclaim the remaining three baht
on your card.

I had a washed US passport and laundered money while I was staying with a friend in the US. Maybe she didn't put too much soap, since the ink only ran a bit. The cash looked immaculate. I continued to use the passport for another 8 years with no complaints from airlines or immigrations.
Think they are more picky these days
-
It's the airlines you have got to be careful of these
days, they will refuse boarding for the slightest sign
of damage, which your passport will still carry even
with freshly-minted extension stamp.

In most offices the 90 day report due date has nothing to do with annual extension.
Some offices do the report along with your extension.
Not sure why they do that as the two are unrelated
That's what the do at Korat, think they somehow think final report will
run out same time as your extension.
Bugs me, everytime you can lose 10 days or so if you report early, but
you can do your extension early and it is stamped on the due date.

So maybe my notification was made too early ?
if the count starts from extension renewal on on january 17th and not on re-entry on january 10th ?If they reset your 90-day report at time of extension
you will have a slip of paper in back of your passport
with the next report date.

After years of seamless 90 day reporting on line I too just had my application rejected. Strangely I didn’t get the usual reminder email . This is the first 90 day after retirement visa extension in January so everything was completely up to date and I was 13 days before due date so comfortably within the window. I always double check my information is correctly entered. There is obviously something amiss with the system at the moment. Korat office.
At Korat, previously, your final 90-day report expiry was timed to coincide with
the end date of your extension, when they reset the clock. Note this year the next
report due date ran past the extension renewal date, even so still had the
clock reset on my recent extension renewal.
And you guessed it, just had a reminder to renew my old report.
Wondering what happens now when my current report is due.

Give it a go at re-applying.
Now, as to asking immigration to explain
their motives.,..

Standard reply, but you still need to go within
the reporting window.
Think you may have applied a tad too early

Angry reactions as foreign couple's car crash leaves injured rider abandoned in Phuket
in Phuket News
Posted
Have seen so many of these type of accidents on Thai media,
where you cringe, because you cannot understand why the
bike rider slams straight into another vehicle without
attempting to take avoiding action, likely because their
eyes were not on the road.
