Should we be concerned about USA’s alliance with Thailand?
RichardColeman replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Yes, 45kg Chinese noodle eating woman would certainly be better than an average fast food 90KG American counterpart ! -
Course not, Islam is a man's religion, run by men, for men, to the detriment of women - as seen by the Taliban's commitment to women. If anything I am surprised the men are not up in arms about them swimming - I also doubt they would approve of them swimming with infidel men !

About time striking that causes chaos was banned completely - either that or the unions have to pick up the bill for every penny of lost train revenue, additional public travel cost and company lost work hours. I doubt anybody would vote for a strike if they received a bill for 10,000 quid each per day for doing so

I have no issues with Trump going to prison IF it was shown by an 50/50 jury he did wrong - not by a totally DC left wing jury.

NO, they are wearing what they have been indoctrinated from a young age by Islamic men to wear, you seriously thing that they would wear these things if not brought up with Islam ? The amount of non Islamic women not wearing them should be a clue to that !

In our estate there is a park with about 10 outdoor exercise machines. Everyday there is about 10 youths that come and sit near us when we are exercising, all smoking and drinking some homebrew or something. You know as soon as they get availability to weed the entire estate will stink of the stuff. I have no problem with young or old smoking weed - just do it either upwind of me or in a ganja retreat halfway up a mountain. The stuff is pungent and reeks, seems people applauding Thailand decision do not give a hoot about people who do not like the smell of it ! I fully predict now that road deaths for ganja will make up 25% of all road deaths soon. Thais cannot handle alcohol and you want to give them availability to more drugs ? I fail to see the logic of the argument for that.

I truly believe that retirement is made of of two halves. The first I would call the 'young' retirement - the age when you are still young enough and fit enough to enjoy everything, to be able to get about and have stamina to do so. I'd say this would be about 60-75 ish. The second half I would call the 'old' retirement, when you slow down and its pretty much the 'last supper' stage or sitting in comfy chairs or pottering in the garden. Though retired myself now, I do not plan to stay in Thailand until I am dead. Later in life I will sell my house down south in UK, buy a massive place up north and move the family to the UK with the money left over and other retirement income. Then, me and the wife will quite happily stay in the house until we are dead. The world outside these days is a nasty and nothing like it used to be - even the wife says that. We will just enjoy our own company at 75 up in the house with the odd trip out.

Google Says Thai Tourism Shows Clear Signs of Recovery
RichardColeman replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Pretty sure that google would find 'thaI porn' searched for more on google than thai holidays - would that mean that people coming here are more interested in sex than seeing a monastery ?- 41 replies
