More anti-brexit propaganda - they are NOT barred from Europe, they just need to change their passport

ultimately affecting the very essence of time itself.
These subtle variations occasionally necessitate adjustments to our clocks through the introduction of a "leap second." While seemingly insignificant, the addition or subtraction of a single second can have profound implications, particularly for the intricate workings of modern computing systems.

adding that Top targeted healthcare professionals in the LGBTQA+ community. According to the victim, Top approached him saying he was a cardiologist and lured him into using a drug by claiming it was a supplement.
From this reporting, one would have to assume that gay healthcare professionals are more dense than a Issan farmer's pet pig.

Go on, put it up to a high min wage and watch the total destruction of the recycling business 'inter-people' and the huge dumping of plastic, bottles, tins and cardboard as it becomes cheaper to dump it than recycle it

I really do not care how hot it is for a few days, I just want it to rain for about a week !! I honestly cannot remember a day where it rained all day for several years - I have tried telling the wife in the UK it like rains for month or weeks on end - she thinks I am porky pie'ing

This is normal weather and temperature for the tropics, is it not?
My wife has started putting the air con on more in the early evening - we use fans in the day. The heat is currently VERY abnormal - she is not a person that generally needs air con. So I would have to disagree with you big time - of course a couple days thunderstorms may well return everything to normal - but in Pattaya we seem to get 15 minutes downpour and nothing but heat for the next 3 months.

Oh well, some Thai school is going to have to recruit a new English teacher.
I am also not so sure that immigration should have published this story with a 4 million baht cocaine value - I mean that is potentially 2 houses here ! A huge incentive for someone to get onto the property ladder. I can see the 'large' women on Pattaya beach just lining up for this :)

Problem is most 'poor' people in the UK consider themselves poor if they do not have the latest i-phone, a 65 inch tv, at least 2 dogs, 5 children, beer on tap, cheap fags, sky subscriptions and easy access to weed. Least that is what 2 years in blackpool during covid taught me

This article will well be worth following - UK people can stay here for say 1 month on a free visa, but UK visa for a Thai currently would be 6 months (paid), so chances are that either UK people can come here for free for 6 months or a UK visa for a thai would/could be reduced to 1 month , with a special 6 month visa also available. I'm hopeful that there will be free 6 month reciprocal visas.

Until they have electric charging stations more common than 711's here, then this whole EV thing is doomed to failure

Are those not recreational drugs ??... i.e. drugs people use to have a good time, much like drinking alcohol ?
Be fair, I think there is far more of a link of people graduating from weed to hard drugs than there is from people upgrading from beer to hard drugs, though I can accept a link from alcohol to weed. I do not consider alcohol or wee a hard drug

I have absolutely no idea if they will reach this target, but one thing I will say is that if they do want to achieve this figure they seriously need to sort out the immigration officials checking you into the country at entry immigration. It took me 10 minutes to get through last week, even though I have a retirement stamp until the end of May.
The guy was totally confused, started rubbing his forehead, counting on his fingers, then he got the calculator out and then promptly stamped me valid stay until MAY 25 ! An entire year after I was valid for. I gave it back to him and pointed again at the date on my stamp and told him it was wrong, more forehead rubbing, more finger counting , more calculator. The crowd behind me were getting annoyed, you could see the frustration they all had after their own 12 hour flights ! So, May 2025 scrubbed out, and new correct date added.
I am not saying the guy was either thick or an idiot, it could well have been a training issue, but if this is the sort of quality of officers, then the people will be lining up back to their planes at 40 million !

Well, at some point we might find some proof of alien life. No doubt the universe is chock full of intelligent civilization. Just not here on earth. Considering the vastness of the universe, I consider it sheer hubris, that so many insist we are the only intelligent species in the entire universe. It would not surprise me if there were countless highly evolved populations on distant planets.
Whilst I may like the idea of intelligent life out there, I am somewhat of the opinion that we may actually be the most intelligent species out there. My reasoning would be that the only life out there that could be seen as ultra intelligent would be one that would have had to have survived any initial 'big bang' (my own opinion is the big bang being and exploding black hole).
If we assume that ALL life starts the same with water, heat , etc and it all follows the same live of amoeba, fish, reptile, dinosaur/mammal, etc then there may well be many many planets out there that have huge amounts of wildlife but no intelligent species.
Humans evolved supposedly to the most intelligent life mainly I suspect due to the deaths of the dinosaurs via meteorite hit , etc. So unless an event like this happed that mirrored our own planet..................
If, there is life out there that we could communicate with it would probably be reptile in origin and we may well find ourselves at war with them as they would view us as food, in the same way that KFC would accidentally start an intersteller war if the intelligent life out their is chicken descended

Excellent, the more undemocratic the place becomes the stronger reasons my wife has for a UK asylum claim to get round immigration fees !

Complete hogwash and profiteering - my return flight today is £400 more than it was prior to covid. Pure theft. Shame BA is not flying direct to atleast give the appearance of competition. They will be pricing themselves out of the market - family of 4 return flights to the UK for a holiday now is near £4,000 before you even step foot on thai soil

Wow !! Who'da thought if you raised your prices 60% and there was little competition you would take go into profit ! I'm quite sure if BA were still flying direct to BKK their profits would be down more on the UK flights !
