Call them.I cannot tell you about income verification (sorry) I went for my visa extension for the 4th time,the first 3 times no problem.Now there is a new guy in charge and he is a complete bar steward.He asked me for papers that are not required for a visa based on marriage,when I pointed this out I was told "Sir you will give me any papers I ask for,I am showing my authority".AGAIN CALL THEM.

Your experience is quite normal,it just depends on which official you have to deal with.I have extended my visa 3 times,all done within 30 mins. on the 4th occasion my interview was done with a different person than before.I had to jump through hoops for this guy,asked for papers that are not required for retirement extension,I was told quote "sir i am showing my authority,you must give me any papers i ask for".To me that said it all

Ah Ah! Thai buses! They are a joke, like Thai police.

Look at buses in Malaysia. You will see a big difference: No super-high double deck shitty buses with poor interior and cramped seats but standard single deck with normal seats.

HEY THAILAND! Look at your more developed neighbors and copy them! (edit: copy with same quality or better...)

There are no good drives in Thailand.In the U.K. it can take up to 7 days to get a licence for a bus(coach).The first question you are asked when taking the test in U.K. is "What is a drivers first priority?" The answer is " The safety and comfort of you passengers"

Every bus and truck should be fitted with speed limiters,Every bus and truck should be fitted with a tachograph to record drivers working hours and maybe a more stringent driving test.These things will never be introduced because they will involve spending money.

Every foreigner i know, who lives in the provinces drinks alot. I think it is about boredom. There is nothing to do. Especially in the villages. No stimulation. They all get drunk or drink alot. How very boring in itself, if you ask me.

We bought a package from Dynasat a couple of years ago, plenty of movie channels, sports, national geographic etc only to loose everything 6 weeks later 28K baht flushed down the toilet. Apparently they were pirating a Malaysian company's service and selling it on. The original company updated it's security and changed it's encryption. All we had left was the dish, the box and 3 free to air channels. The BBC, Australia Network and a religious channel.

We actually thought they were a legitamite company as they were selling in major shopping centres. Lesson learnt don't trust anyone.
