If you're referring to VAT, yes, it would normally be included in the price shown, if the price isn't inclusive "+VAT" will be shown.

VAT for tourists can be refunded at the airport when  you leave the country for purchases made at participating shops that display the VAT refund sign.  This includes most major department stores like Central World and brand shops.

Is this only at the airport only? Land port?

Bangkok, 17 June, 2022 – Thailand’s Centre of COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) today approved the removal of the Thailand Pass registration scheme and an US$10,000 health insurance requirement for foreign visitors, effective 1 July, 2022. Both requirements were initially removed for Thai nationals from 1 June, 2022.

From 1 July, 2022, foreign nationals are only required to show proof of either a certificate of vaccination or a negative RT-PCR or professional ATK test result within 72 hours of travel. These can be in a print or digital format. Random checks will be made on arrivals at Thailand’s international airports or land border checkpoints (in 22 provinces). Unvaccinated/not fully vaccinated travellers who are random checked and who are unable to show proof of a pre-arrival negative test will be required to undergo a professional ATK test at the point of entry.

Thankyou.  this might be a stupid question.  So those guides pertain to Thailand as well?

No, they've been iffy for a long while... Without Renault they might have no longer even been around....

What does this bad news and dramas or going red have to do with making cars?  I was taught car makers don't make profit or if they do its less than $100  but the reason why they keep on making cars is they love making them and for us to drive.  Thankyou all car brands!  This post is done.  Be safe and happy new year!

  5. The sale girl called an offer another 15,000 off!   I might have to buy this previous update Terra and just install an aftermarket power tailgate but then my Mux power tailgate sometimes it doesn't close properly.  Plus I've never liked power tailgate my previous 2 SUVs were always acting up.  I think they're slow. Anybody with me on this tailgate?

    I can't remember.

I know they threw in three options.

I did the camera and two chrome add ons.

Don't get the camera, you can purchase a cheaper and better one from Shoppee or Amazon.

I got the 4 wheel drive also.

Great in the monsoon season and better resale value.

but the my2022 comes with surround view camera already.  Was your Terra my2020?

I would look closely at the manfacture year of the Nissan Terra there has been at least 2/3 model changes in the past 3 years, this time last year Nissan was offering 250,000-300,000 baht discount to shift current stock which does have an impact on used prices

I'm gonna confused are you saying this will be Nissan's last Terra update and then they'll come out with a new generation?

    I enjoy my Nissan Terra.

    Nice and big, comfortable.

We use on adventures all over Asia, mainly Thailand since the pandemic.

I put a covered luggage compartment on top to make more room for the family.

    No problems so far, 2018.

That pearl white looks very fitting on the Terra.  Beautiful!  My boss now wants white pearl after seeing our neighbors Terra in white pearl.  How much was your body side chrome?

  9. The boss at home wants a Nissan Terra 4x4 but I told her to go with another Mux but 1.9L 4x2.  We had tested both of the MUX months ago and yesterday the Terra.  The Mux it's 1 yr newer, 3.0L, and very conservative styling.  The Terra has a muscular and modern look, a very good car, faster and quieter than the Mux and surprising smoother than MUX(?).   The only thing MUX is missing that she wants is a surround view camera system which I don't blame her since it's a big car.  The Terra has almost everything but I heard Nissan might come out with a new generation Terra since it's sharing with Mitsubishi and the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport next generation is coming out in 2022-2023.  Imagine buying the current Terra and few more yrs from now there's a new generation Terra.  I know it's somewhat a personal question but how bad is this waiting going to be?  Anybody know.  Chip shortage?  Or a Isuzu scarcity stunt?

One additional note ilikethai as you consider investment options, and that is this, prompted by your mention of trickery:   if anyone tries to sell you an annuity, hide your wallet and run!

Ok you got me scared.  I'll save up to buy myself beer and you know the rest.

You never know, when an accident will happen and from where the "opponent" will come from. And if both parties claim that it is the others fault, then a 360 degree view will help determine the cause of the accident.

Imagine: You alone in the card, driving through a 4-way intersection. A car crashes in your side, 4 people in that car swear that you were speeding and you refused their right of way... standard front/back cams will not help, it is 4 against 1, so a 360 degree view will come in very handy to determine the truth.

I don't think the Pajero, Terra 360 camera record they only do live feed to help you navigate.  from what Ive been searching online, the real God 360 camera is in the new gen Land cruiser L300, it's 360 view plus bottom cameras.  It can help doing off road but damn I'll never be able to afford one. Lol.

  12. Ok I tested out the 360 camera on the Nissan Terra.  Here's the thing its high tech, the video is ok but not clear, it can help but not necessary and worth it.  The only camera that I use always is backup, but I just look at it for 2 seconds and end up using the side and back mirrors.  I also tested the Pajero 360 camera which has a better video feed but af the end of the day it's the back back camera that's worth it.

  13. Hello again.  I'm waiting for my Mux 2021 4x4 3.0 without diff lock which I don't care since I watched and tried the Rough Terrain Mode and concluded it worked and less maintenance.  The mux has a back parking camera but I'm worried about not getting a birds eye view camera.  I could install an after market camera system but it won't be neat as from Isuzu if they ever put it as standard.  The Pajero Sport, Fortuner, Terra all have 360 cam.   Is 360 camera that helpful?  Am I missing out?  but then the Mux has that killer price and features that balance things out.
