After receiving a second vaccination are you issued with a certificate of some sort to prove you have had the full course?
You can apply for one via the Mor Prompt app.

I had what I would call an "altered state of consciousness" immediately and for 1 hour after the shot. Apparently this is one of the rarer side-effects of AZ. Late in the afternoon I had a temperature of 37.5C and felt like I was fighting a cold. I also had what felt a little like heartburn. Tylenol and Eno took care of it. I just had a slight headache and stiff arm the next day.

I need a cheap CCTV system and Watashi do their WIOT1010 for 650 baht. I need to know the difference between the 1010 and the "smart" 1019. Anyone used them?
The 1010 seems to have motion detection, infra-red, alert to smartphone and a still photo relating to the alert, but the reference to "cloud storage" is not explained. The SD card isn't much good to me if I am away for a long time. I'd like to be able to take still photos after an alert or capture a video clip of the incident on my phone, or at least have it online somewhere.

That odd, I have accounts at Krunsri with both Thai and English names. I use the Thai name account to pay my social medical...
Yes, I have the same at CIMB bank.

LH Bank still has fixed deposit:
0.85% 3 months
0.95% 6 months
1.05% 12 months
1.10% 24 months

I stumbled upon Kasikorn's K-eSavings (1.5% up to 100K) and also their LINE BK Special Rate Account 12 months (1.5% up to 500K). Anyone know anything about these accounts?
I tried to sign up for the e-savings using K-Plus app and it told me to go to a branch to update personal information. After 30 minutes at the branch it turned out this is for residents only. If you are not Thai but have a pink card they said you would have to change your existing accounts to reflect your Thai-language name and ID. I said no thanks.
Thanachart's e-savings also required my Thai ID number, but ONLY for that account and retaining the English name. My savings account remains under my passport ID and name.

Don't know about Thanachart, but the good esavings rates are often limited to 1-200k. Senior account at CIMB is good for 1.5 million... but the branches around BKK, including the main one, have an extremely poor attitude towards foreigners, and very poor English skills to go with it.
Thanachart e-savings is currently 0.9% for the first 5 million baht.
CIMB senior account is now limited to 2.5 million at 0.7% and only one lump sum deposit. That's pathetically low. Last year it was 1.5%
-
Thanachart's e-Savings account still has 0.9% interest rate.
CIMB Thai's tax-free Senior account is now down to a lousy 0.7%

I had the AZ vaccination this week at my registered social security hospital (I am retired but still in the system). 2nd shot is in 12 weeks, although I see the government has announced the 2nd shot should now be set at 8 weeks for AZ.

From other reports, the Ministry is referring to the foreigners who managed to register on MorPromt
I wonder how many did? I couldn't, and I've been in SS for 20 years. Shortly after the app was released, they issued a new version that required a laser ID, which would rule out anyone without a pink card. I have a pink card but it still rejected me. An exercise in futility, it seems.

Sadly, 'having an appointment' might not give a guarantee, esp. if the government restricts jabs to Thais due to 'limited supply'. My bet is that any foreigners will only get jabs once 'every Thai' has had them.
And how about foreigners that don't have a pink card?
It's no guarantee, but what the government announces and what happens "on the ground" are often two different things. For example, Ministry policy is not to allow foreigners free cannabis oil. One clinic stopped giving it to me, but another didn't, since they accepted that I needed it. I am not expecting to be turned away when I turn up for my jab. Relatively few of us have social security or a pink card (and could get an appointment) so I doubt anyone will care.
Foreigners not in the Interior Ministry or SS databases will probably end up at the back of the queue. My point was that this is logistics rather than racial discrimination. Anyway, I will report back next month.

I suspect the Ministry is trying to assure Thais that 1-2 million Burmese "expats" (i.e. migrant labourers) won't get vaccinated before them while vaccines are in short supply. I was unable to register using my pink card or my social security number, but they offered me an appointment when I walked into my registered hospital yesterday. Logistically, it should be easy to include foreigners with a SSN or house certificate number because they are already in a database, but for the rest it might be a challenge.

From what I have read, the Thai Prompt app was developed by Chonburi hospital but is not limited to Chonburi province. This 24-year-old foreigner got an appointment at a Bangkok hospital through the app with just her social security number:
It seems a later version of the app asks for a Laser ID, which is only available on Thai ID and pink ID cards. When I type my SSN it displays my name and birth year correctly but the date is incorrectly January 1st. I am then asked to put in my Laser ID, but when I do it fails - presumably due to the incorrect birth date.
I had no luck with the Line app either. I enter all the info from my pink card and it just keeps saying it is incorrect. I have foreign friends who could register and Thai friends who had all kind of problems registering. Go figure.

That's odd. I assume you are translating the Thai popup error message.
After entering all my information in the first screen, I'm told to please enter the correct information, no mention the ID.
My mistake. I was entering my SSN in the Login field instead of Create New Account. When I tried to create a new account, the app then displayed my correct name and birth year but displayed a new field for "Laser ID on the back of ID." It said no need to fill it in, but then failed when I didn't. The SS card doesn't have a Laser ID. I tried the one from my pink card and also my passport number but neither worked. In any case my SS card predates the pink card, so they wouldn't have it on record. I think I will visit their office and ask what is going wrong. My experience wasn't the same as others who have tried successfully and were not asked for this laser ID.

I just tried with the Mor Prompt app and my social security number but the response was "This card number has not been registered for service." It's been registered and in use for 20 frickin years, <deleted>!
PR 20 years, SSN 20 years, pink card since first issued... but no can do.
I feel like Billy Bob Thornton in The Man Who Wasn't There.

I've had a yellow book 20 years, a pink card 4 years, and have been registered at my local private hospital, Mongutwattana in Bangkok about 20 years.
I've had PR and been on a blue tabien baan for 20 years. Also had social security for many years. I've used the pink card while renewing my driving licence and also at the amphur when requesting a summary page of my tabien baan. No problems there. Only with Mor Prompt.

Just tried the app but it doesn't even accept my basic Pink Card info on the first page. It just keeps saying "Please input the correct information." All this info should be in the Interior Ministry database so I don't see how it can be "wrong."

Just called the private hospital where I am registered for social security and they said "Thais only." Apparently, that is the hospital policy. So, back to the app...
-
I walked in to Bumrungrad today, where I have been registered for many years, and they told me there was no registration because the government has not given the vaccine to private hospitals yet!
-
The video mentions entering your "13-digit Thai national ID" so perhaps those of us with PR or a yellow house book can register.

Two years have gone by and there is still not a drop of CBD to be had in the kingdom. They need to cut the BS and get moving on this.

I have a Thai ID number but I would want to avoid the Chinese vaccine.

A depressing start to 2021:
CIMB 1.00% for 11 months (Preferred)
LH 1.05% for 12 months
Thanachart e-savings currently still 1.20%

It isn't a scam, but it's currently a "herbal remedy" rather than a medicine (with one exception) so there are relatively few scientific trials testing its efficacy. Of the two main components, CBD does work for some exotic forms of epilepsy and other seizures.
I suffer from very painful trigeminal neuralgia and CBD reduces the pain by half, when I can get it in the UK, yet others with the same condition say it doesn't help at all. On the other hand, the standard drugs prescribed for neuralgia (anti-epilepsy drugs Carbamazepine and Gabapentin) also work for some but not for others. CBD is harmless, so it's worth a try if there is anecdotal evidence that it works for a particular illness.
CBD is legal in Thailand but there isn't any available at present.
