  1. Ive found in Bumr that they charge Farang more than they will charge a thai lady. ie at the dermatologist for farang is 1500baht. for my thai gf its 900baht.

consider taking Roacutaine but its potent and dangerous- some people suicide whilst on this drug but it clears up the acne 100%

  2. Sorry to hear about what happened to you OP. Have you ever thought about moving to the country area's of Thailand in the north for example. The thai's actually smile at you and are genuine nice people. Everyone drives slow and no aggression. Phuket is no good pal.

  3. You lost me at, "have been together 2 to 3 months and we love each other."

I cannot take anyone seriously who, at your age, utters such tripe like this.

Even the remainder of your OP supports your naievity in "going along with the flow" of what takes some couples many months to achieve before parading in front of family members.

I am describing a tree, that takes months to establish firm roots and have the ability to withstand nature's fury.

You are describing a ficus tree with 1000 baht notes instead of leaves.

    Love!

    Oh brother!

Cup o coffee you are a moron. There are no rules with love. It can happen in 2 weeks, 2 months, 2 years. Everyone is different. Reading your cynical comment makes me think that your only capable of pulling a bar girl. Maybe you have never been in love or no girl has actually loved you. You are a sad human being....

  4. If Im on a tourist visa (arrived in LOS early December 2013) and I need the residence certificate to renew my expired drivers licence.

Will immigration issue me the paper if I only have a hotel receipt where Im staying proving that I have lived there since arriving in LOS. I dont have any residence book that one might have if renting a condo etc.

If they will not give me COR and if I drive or ride using my drivers licence from home plus carrying my International drivers licence, is this ok if pulled over by the police?

    thanks

  5. I need to obtain a residence certificate in order to renew my 1 year thai driving licence that expired 6 months ago.

Have any members recently done this at Kap Choeng Immigration?

Ive read on a few threads that some immigration dept’s do NOT issue resident certificates and thus seek clarification.

Or can I go to the Surin police station or local town hall to get this certificate?

If you have knowledge on whether I actually need to get a Resident certificate to renew the license in surin that would be appreciated. Can I get this renewed if Im only on a tourist visa? Some places in Thailand don’t allow it.

  6. Friends of mine are flying into Bkk from Europe in 2 days an they seek my advice regarding the shutdown; i.e. if they should cancel their trip or not. If you live in Bangkok at the moment maybe you can provide some comment to this effect.

Im assuming that the shutdown is isolated to certain area’s and as long as their hotel is not in one of the said area’s then it should be fine. I would expect delays with taxi’s etc.

    What is your opinion?

    Many thanks

  7. I've just been through this but Im older than you dating girls in the same age group as you. Ive now meet an amazing girl and we love each other. She asked me the same questions as your thread and asked if I was a butterfly. I told her straight that Im no virgin and have had some fun in the past but now seeking a serious relationship- which was the truth.

The closer the thai girls get to 30 the more sensible they will be and thus probably seeking a serious relationship. They just want to be loved like any other human being and most of them are looking for a genuine kind guy. If this is what you are and if you can portray this then you will succeed. If you find a good one, close the dating website (de-register) and tell her you did this for her. Prove that you like her. Take the steps to be a genuine guy and devote yourself only to her. She will feel loved and accept you. Its the best thing to meet a good thai girl and fall in love and I hope it works for you as well. Good luck

  8. i faced a similar situation myself. my advice is to never marry below your station. middle and lower class girls can appear cute at first but you will soon tire of their ignorance and lack of social standing. in my case i had an investigator vet all the candidates as to medical history, education, etc etc and also investigated the relatives. i then had a short list from which i selected my wife based on her looks, personality and suitability for child rearing. we have had a long and happy relationship due mainly to me doing my homework and i am very happy with the children she has produced.

you had a private investigator do the homework for you..... that is really strange.

  9. I'm a health thrusting male specimen apart from the fact that Im on antibiotics for 3 months to treat acute bacterial infection of my prostate. Im taking Distaclor MR and Tarivid 200mg.

If I accidently cream pie and get my girlfriend pregnant, is there a risk to the baby having complications / deformities on birth? What are the risks?

I read the brochure and it mentions in the fine print that the drug was tested on rats and no issues to report re fertility etc.

    I appreciate your humble opinion.

  10. For severe acne, I would recommend Roaccutane but be careful as it can cause mental health issues and teenagers suicide sometimes whilst on these pills.

Taking Roaccutane will 100% clear up acne but research the side effects before choosing to take it.

  11. I know that most Doctors will tell you that there is no link between prostate infections and blood pressure issues but I had an acute bacterial infection of my prostate and minor blood pressure issues. After antibiotic treatment I did not have BP issues again. You may find the following info interesting....

Acute bacterial prostatitis. A sudden bacterial infection marked by inflammation of the prostate. This is the least common form of prostatitis but the symptoms are usually severe. Patients with this condition have an acute urinary tract infection with increased urinary frequency and urgency, a need to urinate a lot at night, and have pain in the pelvis and genital area. They often have fever, chills, nausea, vomiting, and burning when urinating. Acute bacterial prostatitis requires prompt treatment, as the condition can lead to bladder infections, abscesses in the prostate or, in extreme cases, completely blocked urine flow. Left untreated, the condition can cause confusion and low blood pressure, and may be fatal. The condition is usually treated in the hospital with intravenous antibiotics, pain relievers, and fluids.

  12. I do question if this is another guy writing a book or something...

If it is a true story then OP is a fool. Have you ever thought exactly what is being said about you behind closed doors in the mother tongue. They think your a fool for parting with your money and so do I...
