I have an intense dislike for MS, i've mostly used Linux for about 15 years now (current computer is dual boot MS/Linux). I've been using Ubuntu, but would be open to trying another flavor of Linux if I found one that is even more user friendly, or had better options for software & apps.

I haven't attempted to use it here in Thailand, although I do use it quite a bit back home in the U.S. I will have to try it, see how many places here accept it. For some reason back home in the U.S, I have had some issues with certain places I get an error message, that says my card in Google Wallet is expired, even though it is not.

Rock wool insulation is excellent for sound deadening. If you Google it, or check out some building supply companies I am sure you can find a source for it there in Thailand.

I had a big problem getting on my last flight to Thailand with Delta, never had a problem before. I almost didn't get on except one of the more experienced staff members intervening, then he got me on a KAL flight that left a few hours after my original flight. I couldn't talk sense into the other staff, explaining how visas worked in Thailand!
