  1. Yes I reckon Smile were better too. I just flew Thai domestically and they were pretty poor a very old plane worn out and shabby.Thai were good for me when they flew from Brisbane and I knew the airport and office staff but that was different times. It took 3 and a half years to have money [$2,400] refunded.I said then no more international with them.A Potemkin airline
  2. 20 years ago had a bike spill and ended in Hospital for 2 days in Pattaya. When I got out a guy drove me in a mini-van Ambulance and accompanied me to my apartment complex . He was never more than two feet away from me until I got the money to pay the bill from my safety box. . I don't know how people skip hospital bills

  9. Udon lost it's charm about the time Central was built and the old Soi Farang closed IMO.The surrounding streets their bars were closed too. Lots of good food at the likes of Steve's bar and the German restaurant/bakery in the street behind Robinsons.I used to spend lots of time in Udon . It used to be so easy to ride a motorbike around. Still a nice enough place to visit [or it was when I was last there maybe 10 + yrs ago] but Soi Sampan etc. never had the same vibe IMO and the traffic was horrible.Having said that, ALL Isan has changed. This is quite trip down memory lane for me.LOL
  10. Yep what a joke .Same same for 20 yrs. 40-45 killed a day.And with the " creative accounting " that's only the ones that die at the scene
  11. I was driving in Saraburi a few years ago and 5 pick ups nose to tail went roaring past us folks laughing and yelling,I said to the missus "that's an accident waiting to happen".Over the next rise, here they were all into one another .people all over the road a couple obviously dead . As you say disgusting .That was 10 years ago.Nothing changes
