  1. DELL Call Center: 02-670-7250 Monday-Friday, 09:00-18:00

I had my dell's mb, ram and hdd replaced for free by dell thailand. I called up the call center and contacted the operator. After providing them the service tag number found under the base of the laptop, and telling them about the problem, they sent a couple of guys to my place the next day.

I bought my laptop in the US and was still under warranty.

It was some two years ago. Things may have changed.

Why don't you give them a call on Monday? I remember the auto thing responds with a long list of 'press x for y' but you will get to a human eventually...

    Best wishes.

  2. I was not referring to you.

    I have not insulted you.

Do you really believe that the Burmese 2 murdered the tourists?
I think they did. A trial will determine guilt or innocence.

jdinasia, I really appreciate your confidence, although I don't know where the confidence stems from or if you are genuine about it.

I really really hope the B2 did it and that the police arrested the right guys.

However, if the police have made a 'mistake' and the real culprits are still out, don't really want to see another brutal murder and rape on the island along the years.

  3. Lots of useful tips and techniques here.

As some pointed out, it is no rocket science.

What I fail to understand is the title of the OP. What has the water dispenser got to do with 'Thai logic'?

Because it's in Thailand and only in Thailand have I had this same problem. In fact, the only time I didn't see it spill was when Somchai came and delivered the machine on day one.

Liek I said, never in all my years of working in offices in the UK, have seen a problem like this.

Again, thai logic has nothing to do with refilling the water dispenser.

Anyway, just keep practicing. Hope you succeed one day.

May you never fumble and may there be a day when you finally never spill a drop!

  4. In fact there is not enough evidence to even try them for murder. No DNA on the hoe, no blood evidence on clothes, no wine bottle that the police DISCLOSED was used to kill. Simply nothing.

The headman and family were on the beach at sun up. Doesn't anyone think that a little odd. There are pics to prove this.

    No.

It would be odd if the headman wasn't there. In any village in the country it would make sense for the headman to be contacted when any murder occurs much less the double murder of 2 foreigners.

Are you an alter ego of JohnThailandJohn? Your posts are just the laugh if the matter were no so serious.

    No.

Are you the alter ego of any one of 20 conspiracy theorists?

You add nothing to the discussion.

    'LOL'

    Hey, I quoted you!

  5. 11 years is too long.

Let by gone be by gone.

No point digging up the grave to upset the deceased.

Not sure what you mean by that but here's a quote from news article (post#10)

The latest confession came just two days after one of Tanaka's daughters, Keiko Matta, 31, lodged a complaint with police seeking to reopen the investigation into her father's death. She never believed it was an accident as Ms Pornchanok and Mr Somchai had claimed.

  6. I can guess what happened,

She grabbed a knife and tried to stab him, he grabbed her arm and twisted to make her drop the knife.

How do I know, been there and played that game with two different Thai ladies.

(and so has a surprising number of other foreign guys I have met)

    PS

Even more fun when they grab a machete!

Number of foreign guys I have seen swing a knife = ZERO

Number of Thais (male and female) I have seen swing a knife = TOO MANY

Oh yes farang are always so innocent. What she should have done was waited to he was asleep and cut off his you know what. LOL. Just being sarcastic.

    Man, that was dark
