  1. Thai husband now confesses to killing Japanese businessman out of jealousy

Somchai admitted to push him down from the stairways outside the victim’s third floor room.

Tanaka fell on the stairways of the second floor unconsciously, he said adding that he pulled up his head and pressed his neck in between the stair grill and stepped on his head with his leg until he died.

Wow, that is very 'graphic'...gave me goosebumps...

    *shivers*

  2. Jdinasia is probably a high ranking member of the "tourist" police :-)
    Probably nomsod in disguise.

    Trying to confuse us all.

    Stay focused.

Got it!! Just because I confront conspiracy theorists' delusional posts about.. Well, about everything since they have less consistency than even the RTP did early on... That means I am the person you hope killed the 2 British folk. (while it is far more likely that they have the actual killers in custody.)
Are all investigations not carried out based on "theories " ?
Yes. Yet one has to be blinkered to not know the difference between a theory and a conspiracy theory :) most people claiming to know who did it fall into this category.

Edit - example : Darwin had a theory of evolution. Darwin was in KT with a push knife working for the RTP is a conspiracy theory.

    Hahaha...

Edit: lol on the example of conspiracy theory. My sides...hahaha

  3. Pattaya has been cutting its' own throat.

Pattaya needs to understand Westerners spending their money will not be taken for monkeys.

Prices up, crime up, traffic congestion up, infrastructure down.

Pattaya can carry on this way and will see seasonal tourists drop and drop and drop.

Chinese and Indian tourists put little into the economy.

    Laughable really !!

Do you write rap/hip-hop songs? I sang your comment...

  4. What warranty do the iphones sold in Thailand have from the manufacturer?

In the US, an iPhone includes a 1-year warranty.

I seem to recall here it is 90 days.

    90 days is technical support.

'iPhone comes with 90 days of technical support. In addition, your iPhone, its rechargeable battery, and all included accessories are covered against defects for a full year from the purchase date by a limited hardware warranty.'

  5. I have long suspected that some people are very afraid to admit that the system is corrupt and that there's all sorts of conspiracies going on.. I think they are so afraid to admit it because they have been taught since being small kids that the government and police etc are there to protect them and that they are perfect guardians that will always help the ones that are innocent. FEAR

The same conclusions could be reached regarding the conspiracy theorists here.

Personally I fear all governments a bit. Hence why I would never volunteer DNA.

Even if everyone were pointing their fingers at you for being a suspect? Even if you would want to clear your name off the suspect list?
The consensus is that the RTP are corrupt to the last man. If I accept that as even 20% true then why would I? Currently the man most of the conspiracy theorists here are pointing at has an alibi. He is not a suspect for the RTP. So no, I would not.

So, you agree to the 'consensus' of the 'conspiracy theorists'...

by the way, what alibi are you talking about? His moonwalk picture of supposed CCTV 'photo' with a wavy time stamp? By the way, where is the CCTV footage of that?

  7. ^^ You hope.
    Huh???

    You heard me.

I hope what?? Seriously don't understand.

You hope there isn't evidence to the contrary is what. It's pretty bloody obvious.

Thanks for demonstrating what a straw man is.

I think they have the killers. That doesn't mean I am sure. That is what a trial is for.

The trouble is the "evidence" will not be trusted. The confessions turned out not to be confessions. Phones all over the place. Taxi driver saying the RTP tried to bribe a false witness statement out of him. Suspicious CCTV footage, some say doctored. All manner of other carnage.

DNA testing from the UK authorities please. That will clear this up in an instant.

I have already explained why DNA testing will not be accepted even if done by the UK if it points at the 2 Burmese men.

    PorntipRojanasunan_wideweb__430x300.jpg

Even this lady has said Thai police forensic evidence is in doubt. So that's admissible, but UK forensic evidence cannot even be used by the defence?

You mean the woman that said the GT2000 was useful?

You didn't read what I wrote earlier did you? I repeated it for you and you replied to the post.

If it points at the 2 Burmese men everyone will say it was planted.

Though it is more likely that no viable DNA would be found.

'it is more like that no viable DNA would be found' where?

  8. all that can be asked by outside authorities is that it is seen to be fair

the dead cannot be brought back to life

They could submit evidence to the defence though. If they have or can get that evidence.

If you think there was a conspiracy to frame the 2 Burmese men, do you really think exculpatory evidence still exists?

If the UK has done the autopsy and recovered forensic (DNA) evidence and the two Burmese boys haven't "committed suicide" and been cremated yet, then yes.

    Explained in a recent post

    If there was a conspiracy

... It is unlikely that viable DNA would be found. If was and matched the 2 Burmese men people would claim it was planted.

What do you mean by 'it's unlikely that viable DNA would be found.'?

  9. Digital2Home, canon 600 D+kit lens 18-55 IS II (free 16GB C-4 SD card+camera bag) - baht 16,600

EC-Mall slightly more expensive, canon 600d with kit lens, 17,900

I usually shop at DigiLife Thailand, (website is down) slightly cheaper than EC Mall and Digital 2 Home. They sometimes match the price with others...shops at Fortune, MBK.

  10. Vincent, sorry for all the misunderstanding...I really didn't mean to do that.

A deluded being that I am, I sure am caught up in dualistic and half baked concepts. sad.png

Like I said, why not give it a try and see how it goes? You will surprise yourself. After a while, you may not care what you eat or why monks take the trouble of shaving their heads...

    Best wishes...

You're right. I think I should give it a try. It's an experiences that I've always felt I should have, for better or for worse. Now that I'm fairly old, but still healthy as a result of a good diet, sexual desires should no longer be a hindrance. I might give my fellow monks a hard time, though, with my constant questioning. biggrin.png

Questions are good as long as they lead you to answers.

  12. Knee down while 'riding'

    *giggles*

Welcome to the riding forum. Your first post I believe? Hope to read more of your posts here.

    Thank you, Gweiloman... :)

I am a regular reader here.

Cheers and ride safe... :) and sorry for my dry joke.

  13. Exactly what relevance does you eating White Rice have to do with anything?

Or anything in your post that you mentioned?.

I thought I'd explained the relevance; but apparently not well enough. Monkeys will happily eat white rice because they do not have the awareness that white rice is processed and deficient in nutrients. Humans on the other hand, are able to have a greater degree of awareness, especially Buddhist humans who specialise in awareness.

One significant Buddhist principle is the recognition of cause and effect, or in other words, one reaps what one sows.

A large part of our trillion dollar medical industry is devoted to fixing the problems of an inadequate diet which includes white rice amongst many other types of junk food.

A life-long consumption of white rice can actually contribute towards suffering. Didn't you know that?

Buddhism is about solving the problem of suffering. You know that, I'm sure. wink.png

So, your main reason to be ordained monk is to eat healthy?

If you are so concerned about nutrition and physical appearance, monk hood is not for you. Buddhism is all about training the mind. As the good poster above pointed out, all those 'rituals' as you call it are to aid you to train/discipline the mind that is as stubborn as a piece of rock but as directionless as the wind (and of course, as wild as a monkey).

If you still feel food at Buddhist retreat centers are unhealthy, or that shaving your hair is nuisance, maybe you should try gym or enroll yourself at some touchy-feely stress-eliminating feel-good yoga classes. I think you can eat anytime of the day there and in your desired quantity and also you can style your hair anyway you like.

When Buddha talked of suffering, he meant all emotions cause pain/suffering. Of course, healthy body is important, but more important is a healthy, realized, awakened mind. The fact that you are already caught up in food related dilemma is suffering...that must be overcome!

But that said, why don't you try the monastic life for a few days or even for a week? You already know your shortcomings, I think you can be a very good practitioner...

    Best wishes.
