I love Burger King in the U.S. as they use a higher quality beef than other fast food outlets, but the beef in Thailand tastes exactly the same as McDonald's to me and it is very low quality.
I have never noticed dry buns in either place.
Ajarn, which burgers do you recommend over Burger King?
Only the ones I make at home

I just give mine to some poor old guy that comes around looking for it - same with plastic and tin cans.
I never bothered to ask him how much he's making from it, but if it's as low as 3 baht a kilogram I now feel obliged to give him a few baht for taking it off my hands.
Aluminum cans were quoted as 26 baht per kilogram today

Where do you get the best recycling price?
Last year best recycling price I found on paper/cardboard was 6.50 B Per kg opposite lotus Tesco Nong Hoi that was 2 B more than the next best I found. But unfortunately they moved and put down to 3 B per kg
What is the best price you get now and where is it?
wongpanit.com has daily updates on the prices of all re-cyclable goods, in English.
Unfortunately, if you google it there is a malware warning. My anti-virus sorted it out and it seemed to work?!!
Interesting article about the guy in BKK post recently

http://wongpanit.com/ doesn't work at the moment...

Neramit would have been my suggestion too, if I hadn't ordered some shirts and pants through him last year that were CRAP. The pants were a cheap material and he used a dye that washed out in two washings, and the shirt was poor, with the collar and the pocket badly positioned... He is a nice guy, will come to your house if needed, and his prices, not good, not bad, but this is only my opinion.
Buyer Beware

The best place for ads is http://chiangmainews.com/classifieds_job/
IF the ads are complete
and
IF the ads are believable about condition and view
and
IF the OP is familiar enough with CM to determine the location relative to night bazaar
THEN we don't need this forum - just redirect to google and classifieds.
OTOH, maybe we don't need wannabe moderators dismissing new members.
Hang in there, Max. I'm sorry I don't know the condo scene very well but others will.
<deleted> is your problem sir???

It's possible I've been unlucky with the food and service the two times I've been to Lamduan, or maybe I just like my Khao Soi different, but I actually prefer Khao Soi Samoe Jai next to the temple on the opposite side of Faham Rd. (the one already mentioned).
I like them too, and now they have another shop near me, so it is much easier to eat now

For a will made in Thailand to be valid the will must contain specific information and follow a recognised format. Just downloading a form off the internet and translating it into Thai will not do.
Suggest you PM Sebastian members name "Isaanlawyers" who are a TV sponsor.
I imagine a lawyer told all of that to you. I don't think his help is needed to write a simple Thai will.
The wills I wrote were copied from another farang. He died and his will was no problem at all, and he wrote it himself too.
Any one can write a will but will it be valid according to Thai law?
If you are confident your wishes will be carried out by all means copy a will from the internet or any other source.
Alternatively spend a few baht and get professional advice.
By the way dear teacher, who witnessed your will, how many originals are there and where are they being kept?
I'm not a teacher anymore.
My neighbors were witnesses, 2 originals, one kept with me, one is at my lawyer's office. Why do you ask?

I wish the 747.47 was my bill..
My bill is always at least 4,500 baht

I think the bill collector didn't read your meter last month, hence the same amount. When they read your meter again, it should be okay

How old are your air-con units?
Of the three, all are at least 3 years old. My high bills come from my pool pump and two feeder pumps for my waterfalls, and my air-cons
Install some ceiling fans. You should be able to save Bt1800-2000/mth during Nov to Feb.
In my 25 years of living here, I have always enjoyed my air-cons

Rain Water In Pool
in Swimming Pool Forum
I have been having a problem with my filter... I paid 7,500 baht for some sand from Australia, but everytime it rained, my water would become 'dirty' from something.. I replaced the water twice, figuring something was wrong with my sand, then I went out and bought some cheaper (3000 baht) sand, and flushed out the Australian sand and replaced it with the cheaper stuff. No problem at all. Works great.
Can anybody tell me why the Australian sand (put in by a local Pool company) failed?
