  1. Went along to the hospital today to get a skin lesion checked out, as I do on a regular basis, what with being fair skinned and having worked in the Sahara desert for a few years, and saw the skin specialist for no more than five minutes, if that.

Hey I have had a lot experience with skin lesion...I have a whole drawer full of creams that dont work.....I am not crazy about giving medical advice on forms but  I thought I would just throw this out there,it will probably be ignored but what the heck....

I have had good success treating little skin lesions with Dettol.....I just give them a about a 5-10 minute soak with undiluted Dettol then wash it off.....The place might very well look a lot worse for a few days....Wait 3 days for the place to crust up...After 3 days the crust will come off and and that might be good enough or a repeat might be necessary....I know this might sound like nonsense but just one little skin test might show some results.....

Prime Real Estate for who?  You seem to be saying pretty regularly that hotels are empty because of Chinese buying up condos and Air bnb'ing it. Therefore  I presume you're not expecting more international chains like Hard Rock, Marriot, Sheraton, Movenpick or locals like the Kantary Group to pay top dollar in a fading, dying, past its sell by resort only populated by zero baht Chinese and low budget Indians.

What is this prime Real Estate that you speak of, in a town of empty condos, bordering terrible roadworks, an empty beach and polluted water. You've got me genuinely confused with your own logic.

You guys are not thinking big enough or far enough ahead....You only need look to Burma,Laos,Cambodia is see what might/could/will happen here...I am talking about Casinos.....

I have zero faith that the current government will stick to Buddhist non gamboling principles..

Gamboling has a very corrupting influence and would be a devastating blow to Thailand but it sure as hell makes real estate prices go crazy......The owners of all that near beach land don't want to spend jack on making it better in hopes of the big big double snake eyes casino pay day some day.....

Sihanoukville part 2 need I say more.....I despise gamboling but the trend in surrounding countries is not to be underestimated...The owners of that run down near beach property might not be as stupid as you think....

I'm not sure exactly where they are referring to but i have noticed them flattening Bush Mountain and kicking out the ladies

The Bush Mountain ladies provided a great service for guys who were to cheap to pay beach road prices...

  4. Nong Nooch does a fantastic job on their own property but they have done a very poor job on Pattayas beaches......They have a major hard on for Palm trees..They NEVER plant any normal shade trees any more ONLY Palm trees....Its a real bore....

China is shutting down tourist areas. Thailand isn't?

"Chinese tourism continues to be impacted by the spread of the virus.

Beijing is set to suspend all tour groups businesses, even outbound tours, from Monday, according to Global Times. It follows the closure of Shanghai’s Disneyland, and popular Sanya City shutting down all tourist sites."

One of the highest densities of mis-information I've ever encountered.

Yes the world needs SOME CO2 of course.  But there was no shortage before the Industrial Revolution, was there?  Nature when left alone produced a biosphere that was in balance.  Humans are the only species capable of destroying that balance.  We have done so in the pursuit of more leisure time and a higher(?) standard of living.

Your nonsensical scenario of CO2 production ending .... LOL!   Humans produce it...so production won't end until we're all dead.  I prefer that you go first.

Mr Moore's paycheck now comes from a pulp and paper company so it is hard to say that he is an unbiased commentator.  Oh yeah.... and he was not a founder of Greenpeace.  His first position was that of deck hand on their converted fishing boat the Phyllis Cormack.

Plants need more carbon to produce more oxygen and if humans have more oxygen humans are more healthy....Case Closed

Why do they always ignore the carbon footprint of manufacturing these solar panels, windmills etc? They never ever recupe that in their life time. The white elephant in the room is that nuclear energy has the lowest carbon footprint. What a hoax this all is, the new religion where facts do not matter and the truth is screamed into silence. Fact is the word needs CO2 and we are so far from the optimum level (green houses have to pump in CO2). If CO2 production ended tomorrow the WORLD would be dead in a couple of years. The horror of the truth. If you think I'm an idiot just spend 20 mins and listen to a real expert on the subject, a real scientist and ex Green peace founder and director: Patrick Moore (a Canadian).

This is correct....They should be thinking of ways to create more carbon not less.....

TVs are so cheap now. I recently bought a 40in  HD smart tv TCL from Lazada for 5,490 baht. Came with Netflix and YouTube apps, very good picture.

Well guys TCL won the popularity contest on this thread so that was the one I went with.......I almost bought this TV.....The 40in  HD smart tv TCL from Lazada....

But I found a  43in  HD smart tv TCL display model on clearance at Power Buy for 4990 Baht......And I bought that instead......

It seems like a great T.V......The only slight problem is if the brightness is all the way up the colors get a bit to saturated.....But if the brightness is lowered the colors look a lot better to me......

Any ways I wanted to thank everyone for their help.....

They are not the regular plastic but darned if I know what they are made of, they certainly are reuseable. No labels or anything... just took a look... because it is sitting in the house and most likely will be forgotten next shopping trip.

I think Big C Extra bags are made out of some kind of cotton/plastic blend fiber....
