  1. Novostivl also claims that victims reported the fraud to Pattaya police but were told by officers there was not enough evidence to take the matter further.

So do the police have enough evidence that a crime has been committed yet? Or maybe he is still in good standing because this is just how real estate brokers roll in Pattaya...

Thai Airways deserve nothing. Thai TG491 BBK-AK on Tuesday. No alcohol served during dinner, the after dinner coffee without the usual cognac offering, no on board duty free, no salt/pepper with any meal, toilet rubbish bins overflowing, broken toilet roll holders, overhead air-vents all inoperable (maybe a virus thing). Probably won't fly them again

Sir I hear you.....No salt and pepper would be the straw that broke the camel's back for me....

I'm surprised they haven't ban coffee considering its popularity and addictiveness.  Kratom has about the "bang" of a triple-shot latte and isn't as addictive.  Really, banning coffee would be a statist control-freaks dream come true.  Think of all the people that could be throw into jail.

The powers that be love coffee and the effects it has on people....Coffee has no special tax or regulation on it in virtually any country in the world...Why not?.....Why have politicians not taxed coffee?....Think about it......Politicians love taxes....They love to tax the heck out of alcohol, tobacco, and cannabis, and I am sure kratom too....But they will not tax coffee at all, not even a little, any where...Why not?....Very Strange.....Now even Salt and Sugar are up for some good old fashioned taxing but coffee? absolutely no chance of coffee getting taxed...

Scams?  People from the West are not running "marriage scams" to get visas - especially when old enough to Buy Off Immigration through an Agent for a retirement-extension, at a fraction of the cost of a "fake wife."  A handful were busted from India and such.

    ...

Oh, THAT Scam - the one They Were Running Out Of Their Office with their agent-partners.  Yes, that's par for the course here.

I'd like to quit the Non-O-ME Visa-Runs and switch to a Non-O based-on-Marriage extension, but won't put my wife through immigration's interrogation-hell for my not paying them off.  If someone knows a good Bangkok agent who handles marriage-extensions, please PM me.

The marriage visa has to win the prize for putting the most people through the ringer.....Pictures in bedrooms, maps to houses,Surprise request for documents it just goes on and on...

Great to see my local 7-11 observing the plastic bag ban - They no longer use branded 7-11 bags.

I don't particularly care, but whilst other retailers have stood firm and provided paper bags, cardboard boxes or sold reusable - 7-11 use brown plastic bags for some items, kinda missing the point slightly.

What I do if a store does not give me a bag I just throw a fit and many times this seems to help them find the hidden plastic bags....

It is the Queen Vic. on Soi 6 that 1st Class Visa Runs work out of.

Their Border Run to Pong Nam Ron is 2800 baht which probably is a little higher than the average, but it does include a breakfast (of sorts) and meal on your return, and IMO they have the best Minibus of all of them, which has 6 single comfortable seats ( plus one up front with the driver if you so wish)

They leave from the Queen Vic. at 6.45am (no going around various hotels picking passengers up) and with two short stops at Service Station to stretch the legs, you are back at the Queen Vic. around 2.30pm.

And both the girls that work there, are pleasant and very helpful.

    IMHO

Boy prices have gone up......Last time I went I payed 1,900.....But this was years ago...
