Since most people here have good knowledge re: CM condo's, some one can help me with this please?

  4. it should be ok. You will arrive at the pier at ~ 13:30. There is no high season and there are no important Thai holidays. So, probably you can take a ferry at ~15:00h, maybe if bad luck the 16:00h one. But best would be to fly to Samui by PG, and second the way you do and take the bus to the ferry, the ferry to Nathon and the local taxi to your hotel and look for a car on Samui.

Thanks for the info, but got very good deal at ST airport for 30days car hire plus very cheap airfare from KL to ST.

Will be going near Samui airport, should I take the Seatrans or Raja ferry are they both use the same port at Donsak?

    Will be traveling mid November.

    Thanks.

  5. book return tickets on bus/boat to Samui with Seatran, other company takes you to a deserted pier with less than helpful taxi drivers. At the Seatran pier, there is a small town. Hire the car there.

The OP states he is hiring a car at the airport. As I stated if he books with the "Deserted pier " he can book a return ticket at the same time unlike the other ferry that takes to to a populated pier with the exact same unfriendly and unhelpful taxi drivers. They will also be happy to offer you a rusting, aged and knackered old Suzuki Caribbean for a 1000 Baht a day. Just the car I'm sure the OP is looking for whistling.gif Hence getting the car at the airport

Got very good deal from A***, Toyota Altis for 30days 24k with full insurance, so car MUST be hired at the airport.

So it take just an hour to reach pier from the Airport?

    Thanks.

  6. Hi All,

I was advised by a local:

""The roads are already atrocious and getting worse the further north you go as the wet season takes hold! Only two days ago I had the occasion to travel from Hua Hin to Prachuab and back. In both directions the road was liberally festooned with heavy potholes between Prachuab and Pranburi, going north slightly worse than going south. And these are big, big potholes! Centurion tank size - I exaggerate only just a little!

Add to that the rain! On the way back north the heavens opened around 3.00pm; so much so that I would have pulled off to the side of the road, save for the fact that the side of the road was no longer visible!""

Now am having second thoughts, any one use this road recently?

  7. After going to power buy I need even more time to think. The display models are mainly smaller ones. So I've been searching their website.

I've found a large Mitsubishi for a 26 to 36 room for 59,000 baht. Seems very expensive! Just curious why the room rating has a 10 meter range.

    Here is the link:

Can anyone recommend any specific mitsu models? Thanks.

There TWO diff. Mitsubishi's, one is made by Mitsubishi industrial - Very good but expensive, other Mitsubishi electric cheaper and not very good as Daikin or Panasonic..

  8. May take just only one week if the price is reasonable, maintenance is good, not too old building, location is good, facilities, furniture,.... and may take more than one year if not so many people interest in that condo, to live there, to invest,..

The price is different on factors above, such as on Nimmanhemin road, old buiding price between 600k-1.5m. for 32-42 sqm (depend which condo)., for not so old (a few years)building approx. 4.5m. for 77 sqm., on Huay Kaew road 1.5-2m. up for 45 sqm.,

If I know where is the area of the condo, it will be easier to say about the price (approx.).

How about one near Payap University, old building 70sqm, NO furniture or fittings, empty condo, how much it would go for?

If you mean hill side Payap 9, you can see in my last post, but if it is Ang Ket, price around 680k/75 sqm., partly furnished.

    Why Anket is so cheap?
