"He decided to demonstrate his biking skills to his friends"
The guy is a pro and I bet his mates are still pissing themselves laughing.
They need to make it law that you can't hire a bike unless you have a motorcycle licence.
Or fix up the roads , so there are no pot holes in the city center?Na, I vote for more pot holes and less Russians......

Pristine beach in Thailand......that's so funny.

Simple.......on the planes in from Chinese cities simply run educational videos on internationally acceptable behaviour. including don't spit everywhere, don't trow rubbish everywhere, don't scream at the top of you voice when talking to your friends, don't push in and be obnoxious, etc etc etc. Start an education program before they even arrive. I don't care how much they spend or don't spend, but a majority of their behaviour is an issue for other people.

Stupid, superstitious moron.

Phuket beaches have no shade.
Yes they do......they are all covered in umbrellas and deckchairs......and all the other shit that Eurotrash and Russians love.

Ha, that' so funny.

Don't start me......my favourite: an acquaintance who after 4 years of university insisted that "Brazil is a country in England". Kind of typical really from a country where most people refuse to believe the Americans landed on the moon, but are quite happy believing in ghosts.
'The problem of education' in this society will take generations to solve.

I have been to Yangon numerous times to try to rent an interesting building to convert to a boutique hotel and also one for a live music venue. Found it impossible to rent at a reasonable rate. One more trip then give up.

Good idea to do time lapse.
Did you ever think about employing an architect?

Too much time hanging around in low life bars talking to morons.

I live in Pattaya and accept the good and bad that it offers. I hope that Myanmar learns from the good and bad apsects of Pattaya, (as well as other places), and becomes whatever the Myanmar people want it to become.
My time is limited and I choose to live life here on life's terms. When I can't do that, the world is a big place and I can move on.Can you tell us what is good about Pattaya?

That is a truly awful thought. I have traveled in Burma many times over the past 13 years and love the place. I would not wish a Pattaya on it.

Can they please include in the new teaching scheme 'how to use a roundabout'.

No sorry, no interest in filthy beaches, hookers, transvestites, people hassling me to buy ugly useless crap, losers or crims, That is: no interest in Pattaya at all.

Good luck......
As male Farang and married to a Thai woman that is not from the bar, we complete gave it up to be in contact to any other male Farang+Thai wife couples.....
If the reason you gave it up is that the other wifes are/were bargirls, then you still have a chance. Just befriend TV members. 90% of TV members Thai wifes are highly educated hi-so women with very respectable families and jobs

Ha very funny.......not by 90% of the articles posted here.

Go back to your home country. We don't really need you here.
In case you struggle to read, OP did clearly say he was back home.
But do clarify who is we? and who made you the spokesperson for us?
And unless you have some kind of trademark on who can or who can not come to Thailand, please refrain from making silly statements
We: do not speak for you.....correct.
We: are a small (very small) group of western men living here who are tired of our reputation being spoiled by drunken, whoring losers.

Apparently this incident also made the headlines in the online Bangkok Post. To me an indication there is more to it, and that 'more' I would guess is a general a tiredness with Russians here in Thailand. There have been protests already, next time will probably be stronger.
It's just plain racist to say that. This is one individual who happens to be Russian (and we don't even know that for sure).
The Russians that I have met in Thailand have all been very polite and well behaved.. I judge people as I find them.
Where are you meeting these nice, polite Russians?

Interesting......just talking to a friend yesterday who had a French guy try to pickpocket him on the BTS. Be aware folks.

Restoration of Phuket's Nai Thon Beach: 7 down, 11 to go
in Phuket News
Posted
What the army has done is a few short months is amazing. Beaches on Phuket looking much better. All things that governments should have done years ago. Let's hope they keep going and get ride of ugly deck chairs, jet skis, garbage and all the other accessories of trash tourism.
