My non O extension based on marriage is due to be renewed on the 27th Feb 2023. I have to go overseas on the 15th March which gives me less than the required 30 days for approval. Can I go overseas before the extension is approved and, if so, how do I get back into the country. If not, can i apply early enough prior to the extension due date to give me the required 30 days? I did enquire at my local IO but they didn't want to know.

I think you will find that Thai law in this is not the same as elsewhere. In Thailand right turners have right of way so they don’t clog up the intersection

Also the site where a bus failed to turn onto the bridge after a long curvy downhill stretch, I'm guessing, about 8 years ago. Took to the air and ended in the ravine. 30 or 40 people died. Very sad.

Along time since i went there but I'm pretty sure they have song tor's there to take you across. Used to go all the time for 3 month renewals on O visa.
