  1. Hi,

I have the same type of visa. Like other members said, you are allowed to stay for a maximum of 90 consecutive days, then you have to exit and you get another 90 days. You can repeat the procedure until your visa expires, in your case your last entry must be by November 4th 2015. If you never left Thailand since your entry in December, you are definitively on overstay and must leave asap. You will be required to pay a fine of 20.000 baht. It is also possible you will be banned from re entry, but I am not sure about this. You need to check with immigration asap. Good luck

  2. I don't know where you live, but if you want to be 100% sure not to be hassled, you need to fly in. I am in your exact situation and I was tempted to go to Ranong, but I heard people who got denied, I didn't want to take any chance. I flew out to KL from Phuket twice, first time I spent 2 night in KL, second time only 1. No question asked at immigration. I booked the flight in advance, so in the end the difference in cost was minimal.

    Good luck!

  3. I have been living in Bang Tao for almost 3 years. I don't like Thalang, except for the new Makro, which is much closer than the one in town. What the other memebers told you is absolutely correct. It is a place for Thai people, if you understand what I mean.

I think if you want something quite but not too quite and suitable for farangs, I suggest Bang Tao/Cherngtalay. You have a very good Villa Market at Boat Avenue, Tesco Lotus, a decent gym, very good restaurants, you are very close to Laguna, only 15 km away from Patong and 20 from Central/Phuket Town. The beach in Bang Tao is good, but you are close to wonderful beaches like Layan, Nay Yang and Nay Thon. And not too far away (25 Km) from the absolute best beach in Phuket, which is Mai Khao.

Just stay away from Muslim areas, unless you like to be screamed in your ears at 5 am. PM me if you need more info.

  4. Hello guys,

I apologize for asking the same questions again, but unfortunately the reports of getting a visa in the region are quite outdated. These 2 questions referrs to 2 different friends of mine with 2 different situations. One has WP, the other one doesn't.

    Question 1:

Does anybody know if it is still possible to get a Multiple Entry non B with WP in the region and where?

    Question 2:

My friend who doesn't have a WP sent an email to Hong Kong asking if it possible to get the above. Their answer was that it might be possible... quite vague. My knowledge tells me they don't do it in the area, so it sounds suspicius to me. Does anybody has an experience with Hong Kong lately?

Thank you very much for your help!

  5. Hello,

Has anybody had a recent experience with Andaman Club visa run holding a Multiple Entry B Visa?

Last report I read was back in October from a memeber who successfully did it with Multiple O. I think it should work for Multiple B as well. Anybody can confirm?

Any help will be very much appreciated. Thank you very much!

    I forgot to mention I don't have a WP.

  6. I want a lounge chair, I want an umbrella, I want someone to delivery me food, I want to get a massage on the beach, this is why we came here. We want to relax enjoy our self that why they pay all that money to fly here. You are going to lose them slowly, they will never return. Good going Phuket and TAT your screw evgerything up again.

Not exactly, my friend. Chinese (and generally speaking all asians) don't care about beach regulations as they don't go to the beach, except a few exceptions of course. This is going to affect Europeans mostly and this the direction the authorities want to take. Don't think this is a coincidence but a well thought plan. Like another member pointed out in another thread, expect more yelling and spitting for the time to come...
  7. You don't state why you want to move to SEA. If it's for a career, bad place to start.

I dont really care about my career.I want a place that makes me happy, and S.E.A definitely nails it. The way of life, the climiate, unlimited dining options, buzzling nightlife, relatively low cost of living , when you combine all of these factors it looks attractive in my eyes
If I may, you should try to live in SEA for some time before making such a strong assessment. The world is very big. For example, for people under 30 with good labor skills, Australia offers many opportunities and I think New Zealand as well.

I am not suggesting you should live with your parents money, but as you can afford it, take it for now and travel around the places that look interesting to you. You will discover many things that would be not accessible without being on the spot. Based on my own experience this is the best way to find opportunities.

And finally, I don't think there is something wrong in accepting some help from your family. Just make the best out of it.

    Good luck!

  8. What happened to you is simply ridicolous. If I were you under no circumstances would I get a TV or Elite Card, becuase you do not need them. Like Ubonjoe said, come in with proper documentation and funds. If they don't let you in without any hassle, go spend your money somewhere else. There are plenty of nice places which would welcome you.

  9. You can reserve a ticket out of the country with Thai airways, you have 24 hours to finalize the purchase, which you obviously don't, but if you print it, it looks like you bought it. I did this in Italy to have a visa with Thai consulate. No question asked. You should try it, it doesn't cost you anything. Or buy a ticket out using Expedia, print the receipt, than call them and cancel. Any ticket is refundable within 24 hours. You only lose the booking fee, around 20 bucks. I did this too and worked like a charm. I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  10. If you have an ADSL connection (not fibre), then @tothome as a suffix is correct.

I switched from ADSL to fibre (FTTx) a while ago, so I am not a 100% sure, but due to my pw archive the "y" followed by 8 digits should work!

The first two digits after the "y" are your regional phone code/prefix (e.g. 38 for Pattaya/Chon Buri).

The remaining 6 digits are your "virtual" phone number.

I guess it would be your phone number if you applied for an additional phone connection.

"y" must be a small letter (not capital "Y"!).

Use it before @tothome and as password.

thank you my friend, you are a genius! I was using it with Y capital...

I appreciated very much, you saved me a huge headache!

  11. Hello everybody,

Before going through a painful phone calls with TOT, I wonder if anybody can help me. I need my pppoe user name and pw to connect to ToT.

Form Internet I found out the domain for user name should be @tothome. Do you know if this is correct?

Now, again from Internet, my understanding is that first part of user name and pw sould be my telephone number. The problem is I do not have a phone number, I just have a data connection. Is there anyway I can determine it from the phone bill? I see only 2 numbers, the Service No. (9 figures, starts with letter Y followed by 8 numbers) and Account No. (12 numbers). I treid both. none works (at least not with @tothome).

please, if anybody can help, I would appreciate it a lot.

    thank you in advance,

    Roger

  12. Listen OP, in my opinion if you want to spend some time here and there, your best bet is to search for a job in Phuket or other holiday destinations during high season, which is from December until March/April. Generally speaking you don't make a lot of money but enough to support yourself and peraphs put something on the side. Then you live the rest of the year in UK/Europe. I know it is not exactly what you were asking for, but like many others stated, your original idea is very, very difficult to accomplish.

    Good Luck!
