Thanks for the update. I'll give it a few weeks to settle in and I'll go and try it.
I am still surprised there is no Mexican restaurant in Central Pattaya. There used to be about four of them.
Cholos have recently opened by Dolphin Circus on Naklua/Pattaya Road. They describe themselves as the best Mexican place in Bangkok.
They already have 70 reviews and are very highly rated, scoring an average of 4.9 out of 5.
Google Maps shows all reviews along with the menu and photos.
It's not quite central Pattaya but is 5-10 minutes away on a Baht bus.

So what did he do? Cheated on her?
Apparently, so I hear elsewhere. She must be a one man type of girl.

I like Yorkies sausages. The now deceased founder of the company was a UK butcher.

I see the police have requested help from mainland forces. Lynch mobs must be driven off the streets and the ringleaders arrested and sent to trial for rioting.
It's the UK in 2025, not Germany in the 1930s.

I was dissappointed with the quality of their underpants; inferior to those in the UK.
As previously mentioned, their Jaffa Cakes were addictive and will be sorely missed by me.

In yesterday's BP, it was reported that the Thai military has begun a recruitment drive.

There are still a few on the beach road. The coconut ghosts use them, in the main. Another one on Pattaya Klang, near the corner of the beach road. Though I'm not 100% sure that one has showers. 20 baht is the going rate. 10 baht for toilet usage.
Owned by a cop that one.

How many of the population do you need to diddle out of their promised 10,000 Baht payout to be able to afford to host an F1 Grand Prix?

NDTVi posted pics if him last week enjoying a beer at a local pub. He's still alive and kicking. He has been advised to stop vlogging for the time being.
Good luck to him.

New LED signage soon to be installed, according to a vlogger.

Cholos; who brand themselves as the best Mexican restaurant in Bangkok; are opening a branch in Pattaya. It will be in the new development on Pattaya/Naklua Rd near Dolphin roundabout, a few units up from the new El Gaucho site. No timescales for when they will open, nor El Gaucho who are advertising on site for staff.

How long since you.visited Thailand, a couple of years now!
I live here and always got my BP there till she closed up. I think she moved to England with her husband.
Are you saying it is back open now?

How do those bars up near Rompho markets survive ?
I was there on a weekday night in October and most seemed busy.
Jomtien Soi 7, however, looked woefully short of customers and pretty girls.

I see that Atlantic Bar, on 2nd Road opposite Central Marina, is cleared out and the plot up for sale/rent.
18 months since I was last in there. I am sure many residents on here have happy memories of the place.

Closing beach operators against their will in a beach resort; even for one day; is plain stupid.

Pattaya Condos: History and Future
in Pattaya
Posted
The rent on my condo went down during Covid and; even though it has increased a couple of times post Covid; is still well below the pre-Covid level.
It's all about supply and demand and just now supply exceeds demand. Will this still be the case in 5 years or 10 years? Who really knows.
